This month provides something that has been missing from your thinking and your planning, Scorpio, and includes a startling emphasis on your sense of wonder regarding the universe and all its creations, of which you are one. This is a big month from the standpoint of significant progress. You are feeling at home with yourself, and with the surprising events and unexpected enlightenment that continues to filter down. Your goals prosper to the extent that you realize that the most fundamental engine for meaningful change comes from you, and you alone, where true wisdom emerges when you have the courage to discard the empty platitudes of consensus thinking. You are developing some serious forward momentum and forging a pathway into a future that really works for you, once you take the promptings of your own deep soul intention quite firmly into account.
As the month begins, you have been feeling the shift in your energy occasioned by the station to direct motion of your co-ruling planet, Mars, located in your sign. Your entire sense of identity and self-definition has just gotten a boost, and it will likely take most of the remainder of a powerful monthly cycle to get fully used to the idea. Mars has been retrograde since the middle of April. This cycle has had several stages, and has one more major milestone to go, namely when Mars finally leaves your sign on August 2nd. The very interesting thing about the current position, characterizing this July cycle, is that Mars is lurking in the same degree of Scorpio that the new planet Eris occupies in Aries, making for a close aspect between them and giving you a close look at this brand-new astrological archetype of the Feminine Warrior. People with strong Eris, natally or by transit, have been demonstrated to be those who take a strong stand for themselves and for that which they most profoundly believe: their deep-down soul-level intention. Since Uranus is also close to Eris, only one degree of the sky away from a perfect conjunction there, your intuition is also powerfully developed at this timing, and events can move quite suddenly.
Another important factor for you this month is the collision between the hard-and-fast limitations of your situation, represented by Saturn, and the potential for boundlessness that is symbolized by the numinous energies of Neptune, in square aspect to Saturn, and equally highlighted by this month's astrological currents. You are tempted to idealistic actions in support of your dreams, but must also remember to rein yourself in to some extent in order to stay in touch with grounded practicality. The expansive energies of Jupiter are also featured now, giving you a fundamental optimism that will take you far. As you seek those values that are most closely aligned with your own inner guidance, and proceed to act from that basis, you are also seeing the world around you in new ways, from different, even exotic, perspectives.
