This is another month of deep reflection, Gemini, corresponding to the weeks-long retrograde of your ruler, Mercury. This takes place in the home and family sector of your chart, also referring to your psychological roots. You might be thinking about the past, or reviewing issues of your family of origin, or perhaps remodeling your home or redoing a real estate deal. However this manifests, the more essential meaning is that you get into better touch with what is going on for you on the inside. Your concept of all that is below the surface layers of your personality is undergoing a sea change during this potent monthly cycle, and will never be the same. This affects relationships and career goals, which become more attuned to mystical realities, and also your long-term vision for forging a more solid future for yourself that is based on your own deep-seated values and ideals.
As the month begins, with the New Moon and Solar Eclipse in your fourth solar sector, you are feeling very deeply into family concerns that stem from either your upbringing or your current situation. With Mercury retrograding through this same sector, you are also engaged in a process of re-thinking almost everything about family, including your current dwelling place. Mercury stations to direct motion on the 21st, but does not regain its lost zodiacal ground until the first week in October, thus leaving its retrograde shadow and the last vestiges of this period. This is an especially potent Mercury Retrograde, because beginning very nearly coincident with the very start of the Virgo lunation cycle, and in close conjunction with expansive Jupiter. This makes for an entire month when things go better without trying to make any new decisions or sudden moves, preferring to watch and wait, letting the river flow.
While things are proceeding extremely slowly for you in all areas of endeavor, this is still a good time to absorb the lessons that recent events have given you, having a good opportunity now to review recent experiences in the light of the fresh perspectives of this retrograde timing. Relationship is especially a focus for you now, with a concretely realistic attitude alternating with ideals or illusions about what is truly happening. Saturn in square aspect with Neptune provides both of these antithetical energies for your quest, and also with regard to career decisions that might have their basis in both fact and fancy. Over the course of a rather intense month of change, what might also come up for you are old patterns of habitual behavior that no longer serve you, and that you are ready to shuck. If such do arise, based on buried internal complexes from the ancient past, this month does provide an excellent opportunity to face these, accept your flaws, and begin to move beyond them.
