This month features unconscious process to an unusual extent, Leo, and therefore represents a new occasion to get to know yourself better in your dark as well as in your light-filled places. You are being given yet another chance to investigate these somewhat strange emotional territories, so different from being out there, on stage. As devoted as you are to outer-world self-actualization, and going it alone, this month provides you with the antithesis. You have been perhaps peripherally involved lately with your inner world, seen out of the corner of one eye, and now have the enchanting prospect to more fully explore this vast and fecund area of life, actually underlying everything that you say and do. There are opportunities as well for further investigation of the mysterious Other, which could prove to be fundamental for furthering your own unique arc of development.
As the month begins, you are recognizing the shift in your perceptions and sense of motivation from the recent Mars station to direct motion that took place during the last two days of June, in your sector of home and family. This was poignant for you, as reflected in your solar chart, because of the aspect that Mars has been making for the past week or more to Chiron, the Wounded Healer, symbolic of ancient and unprocessed trauma, most likely stemming from early childhood. Chiron is located in another sensitive area of your chart, corresponding to inner process. Becoming more aware of these parts of yourself, hidden away below the level of consciousness, can be very liberating, allowing you go through life more freely. This applies to your relationships, also, and your professional concerns. Uranus, your relationship sector ruler, is strongly aspected, so that there could be sudden movement there that includes the unexpected surfacing of long-buried emotional states that arise to be dealt with in a more adult framework. This current month might be perfect for this work, because you have the Cancer New Moon taking place on July 4th, corresponding to the sector of your chart that is concerned with greater awareness of everything that is going on beneath the surface layers of your psyche.
There is a strong sense of responsibility that possesses you now as well, so that as you are coming from this deeply inner place there are distinctly outer world consequences. This relates to the physical-world orientation of Saturn, in square aspect with the very different energies of Neptune, representing numinous inner worlds, that which is beyond the physical. These two archetypes are activated by the New Moon, a configuration that might invite you to attempt some variety of compromise. You are, in general, seeking a better fit between the way that you operate in the word, together with newly discovered ideas and belief systems that are more consistent with who you really are, under the skin. As you come to these fresh understandings you are thus taking more profound account of both inner and outer factors of personality.
