Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

The prow of your ship is turning, Aquarius, and not toward shore. You are using that inventive mind of yours for the solution of your own rather than someone else's future for a change. Especially at the time of the Lunar Eclipse on the 7th in your resources sector, you are changing deeply at the core, breathing your way into an entirely different posture, stretching for a new sense of security no longer based on the whims of the marketplace or even the opinions of others. That can have its challenging moments all right, but its own unique feeling of exhilaration also. If you pause to look, you might catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, reaching out across the water to a new synthesis.

As the month begins, you are feeling the contrast between partnership issues versus those of your own unfolding. You find yourself operating out of a rosy-colored optimistic space right now, and challenging reality to measure up to your high ideals. You are transforming at the core of your being, and in the way that you see your connection to the world around you. While you may be happily pursuing career goals at the moment, the underlying question remains of why rather than how you are doing what you're doing. The Lunar Eclipse Full Moon that comes in the first week of the month, on Thursday, September 7th, brings these thoughts to the tipping point. You are fully invested at this time in sharing yourself with others and in figuring out how to maintain your sense of self in the process, and exploring new forms of intimacy based on your own metamorphosis. Your future plans may also be in transition at this time, and also your connection with the social matrix that surrounds you, including friends and group affiliations. The Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, September 14th, represents a period of challenging realizations and further change. You are becoming ever more keenly aware of how and when you give your authority away to others. You are also alert at this time to your various roles as a social being and as an intimate partner as well as an individual. How you fit yourself into the gears of collective participation depends on how you see yourself, and on maintaining your balance so that you don't get lost in the shuffle. When the New Moon and Solar Eclipse comes along a week later, on Friday, September 22nd, a breakthrough is possible in terms of ideas rather than activities.
