Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

This is an exciting and rewarding month for you, Aquarius, however subtle in its impact. You are entering a time when stored-up transformations add up to a mountain, spurred on by a slow shift in your professed values. Your perspective is undergoing a sea-change, although you do not like to admit it. Something is stirring deep inside of you, at an almost unconscious level of your psyche, an idea that wants to be delivered out of the darkness and into the light of day. With the retrograde of Mercury beginning the 24th and lasting through the end of October you will enter a new period of introspection, but from an entirely fresh point of view. After this time has passed you may hardly recognize your former self.

As the month begins, you are in a growth spurt, assimilating the material from the recent eclipses in your relationship sector. You are open at this time to the input of others, but you are mostly concentrating on your own way forward as you digest and integrate the material that has recently come up for you. You also may be coming to terms with new conditions for intimacy as this monthly cycle unfolds. With the First Quarter Moon of Sunday, September 7th, and in the week following, you might encounter a few bumps on the road to progress. This is an important time when you are assimilating the information of angel voices that speak to you from within your own deep center, and the legacy of others' opinions as well, seeking synthesis. You are intent on establishing yourself in your own ground right now, independent from the influence of others, but this is not always easy. Old tapes from the past may come up for you as well at this time, habitual patterns of behavior that no longer serve you in the present tense. If so, they represent an opportunity since these remnants from old woundings are always present beneath the surface and only need your conscious attention fully applied in order that you might move beyond them. This may in fact be one important purpose of this time, for once begun, the healing can spread to others around you. The Full Moon that comes on the following Monday, September 15th, provides a culmination of a sort and a stepping-off point for further depth explorations. You will find that your attention will be on where you have recently arrived, considered as the basis for your ongoing security, and also on your resources in general. Your finances and other necessary life support systems will be an important focus at this time. This has been an epic journey over the course of the first half of the month and the expedition changes in the last ten days, when you will experience a shift to a more philosophical and detached mode of being. The Last Quarter Moon phase is accompanied this month by a retrograde of Mercury in your sector of higher mind, and for the next five weeks or so, you are likely to be mulling over prior events with the aim of understanding them better. It is fascinating to note how everything interesting in life comes in spirals, circling endlessly but with a higher altitude each time around the circuit.
