Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)

You are entering into a period of new awareness and accompanying transformation, Aquarius. Communication with others around you is key, and enthusiastic, and takes place within subtle affinities of higher mind as well as on a more mundane level. Mystical information comes your way mysteriously during the course of this month's journey. You are dwelling in the paradox whether or not you are fully able to articulate this or even to acknowledge it. You are being not so much tested as thrown into the limitless ocean of possibility to see where and how you might bob up to the surface. You'll be amazed, amused, and perhaps just a bit confused. Whichever way you slice it, you'll also be changed forever.

As the month begins you are finding your footing through outreach to others around you in written and spoken word. You are going through some major changes and it can be both exhilarating and confusing. This also might be a good occasion for journaling as a way of coming into touch with your experience these days. In one way, you are finding solace and strength in connection with others while in another you are finding that the road you are destined to walk is yours and yours alone. This makes for a conundrum, and the tendency of your logical mental process is to reject it. The soul, which thrives on paradox, accepts these ideas willingly. It is tricky steering a middle course between sense and what is after all beyond sense, but that seems to be your path right now. With the First Quarter Moon of Thursday, April 2nd, you are temporarily caught up in the details of daily life and focused on practical matters to the exclusion of the wilder fantasies that also grip you at this time. You are feeling the tension of opposites that seem to conflict according to the mundane world of schedules and appointments. Synthesis may be missing for a time. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Thursday, April 9th, may serve to restore a semblance of balance to your world. There is a fundamental optimism that shines through for you at this moment and that makes the difficult seem easy. This is a powerful time for you. All through this period you are scaling the mountain of your personal evolution and finding whatever gems along the way that you have the time to savor. It continues to be very interesting to see how others contribute to your forward motion but are in no way able to fully define what you are up to. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday, April 17th, marks another period of tension and of reconciling what you ideally want to achieve with what is concretely possible. This actually represents a form of preparation for breakthrough. With the New Moon of the last weekend of the month, that comes along on Friday, April 24th, you are entering a new phase in which you are still dealing with the contrast between soul-level and mundane realities, but from the standpoint of a viewpoint that is more spiritually motivated.
