Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

This is a confusing but ultimately illuminating time for you, Aquarius. There are various modes that you are operating in right now, and one of them is an informed disillusion with business as usual. Trouble is, that may leave you at sea for where to go instead, and as this monthly cycle unfolds, you are looking within yourself for the answers. Home and family concerns dominate your thinking and may lead to important realizations. You are descending into your depths in order that you might eventually surmount apparent confusion. The good news in all this is that the answer is but a gesture away. Your container is only as limited as your mind may make it, and everything resolves once you firmly believe in your own power to enlarge the scope of your endeavor.

As the month begins, you are in the process of reviving an important aspect of domicile and family, perhaps connected with tribe or extended family, perhaps closer to home and the psychological roots of your being. This is an important month when you might be able to make great progress in understanding yourself at deeper levels. Since Mercury is also getting ready to turn retrograde in your sector of self-expression, this is also a time of reflection and introspection, when your energy is focused inward, rather than along the lines of direct action. The days surrounding the First Quarter Moon of Friday, May 1st, are an important crux of energy when you might run into a few snags along the way to self-realization, perhaps involving significant partners in your life. You are coming to realize the value of others in mapping out your own path, but it is important also to balance and to gain perspective on their contribution. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Friday, May 8th, renews this idea in a way that is both beneficial and partially stressful. You are pulled to both shared and solitary resource management at this time, and seeking to find the middle ground in your dealings with others, the mythical Golden Mean. It may be that specters from the ancient past of childhood trauma arise at this time to confound your sense of self-worth, although there is also an extremely good opening right now to heal these issues and move beyond them. When you are able to accept yourself at all levels, warts and all, you have made great progress toward integration of all your parts and the concept of being comfortable in your own skin. You are finding right now a spiritual message in the midst of hesitation and potential confusion and are only partially stuck. With the Last Quarter Moon in your sign of the following weekend, which takes place in the late evening of Saturday, May 16th, you are empowered and energized to make necessary changes, even though you are in an entirely philosophic mode regarding any actual activities in support of those changes. Action might have to wait at least until after Mercury straightens out at the end of the month, and perhaps for as long as the finale of the Mercury retrograde shadow period in mid-June. The New Moon that follows one week further on, taking place in your sector of self-expression, brings the developments of these past few weeks together as the springboard for a new phase of creativity and meaningful transformation.
