Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

You are breaking down in order to break through, Aquarius. Still in the midst of a powerful time of change, this first month of the fall gives you both the impulse for further transformation and also a list of mental reservations that cause second and third thoughts to arise. You are placing your heart and your head on the line, finding where you need to continue to make adjustments. It's best to reflect and to ponder your situation right now, choosing not to forge ahead for the moment. As you rethink and revision your position one thing becomes clear; you're going nowhere without a fundamental reliance on Spirit to guide you through.

As the month begins, you are rethinking concepts of intimacy, both with significant others and also within your own heart. You are very deeply tuned to inner levels of your psyche now and seeking a new way forward in this crucial area of your life. There are unconscious aspects of your connection to others that have the chance to become more conscious at this time, and if this is the case, it is definitely to your advantage since self knowledge leads to self acceptance. Your ruler Uranus remains opposed to Saturn and you are also facing a struggle over just how to integrate any new information coming your way at this time. There could be a tendency to reject anything that seems too "far out" or off the beaten track of your long-accepted ideas about yourself and your world. Healthy skepticism is of course a good thing, but every good thing can be overdone at times. When the New Moon of Wednesday, September 8th, comes along, there will be fresh fuel for the fire of your internal investigations. Your communication with others around you continues to be inspired and inspiring, and is redolent of the deeper concerns of your being. You are finding your way home through the darkest levels of your inner workings, as though it were a necessary ritual passage for you. This is of necessity a confusing period, but one that may in the end yield rich rewards if you stay the course. This is also a time when long-buried trauma could come up for acknowledgement and acceptance. The mission of your inner self would seem to be to investigate these matters that take you to your very core, and to come to better terms with all your varied parts, both light and dark, in a more integrated and therefore joyful approach. The First Quarter Moon a week later, taking place on Tuesday night, September 14th, marks a time when the arc of development that you have embarked upon becomes questionable and fraught with doubts and perhaps artificial concerns. You are attempting a monumental restructuring of your worldview, over time, and it takes patience and persistence and bringing all your forces to bear. The good news is that in the meantime, life goes on very much like it normally does, while these unseen forces are doing their work alongside it. By the time of the Full Moon of Thursday, September 23rd, some things will doubtless become clearer. Your practical side will come to your aid and this is a big help, especially if there can be a degree of integration of the dark unknown into waking consciousness. It might actually become more obvious at this time that there are vast changes in the works for you. It is helpful to recognize that these will ultimately lead you into another phase of your existence.
