Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

This month you are in this world but not of it, Aquarius. Even as you revel in real-world pursuits, and even as you totally excel in them, you are reviewing and refining your understanding of what this activity is really all about. A process that begins as analysis ends in holiness. There is a feeling of mystical union with the divine inside that has been growing ever stronger in you until you now see that there is no way to avoid coming to terms with it in some important way. For this you will need not your head but your heart. With each further stage of connection your wisdom grows concerning who and what you really are.

As the month begins, you are feeling your oats and achieving out in the world of events and circumstances while at the very same time you are dwelling on the mystery of inner concerns that are far removed from your public statement. This is more than a little paradoxical, but the nature of the soul is paradox, and soul ultimately underlies everything that you say and do. There are important realizations that you can take with you from this period of time, and of course they involve acceptance of your inner world as equally valid with your outer one, even though they seem so far removed from one another. It is important that you find a way to bridge this gap as you move forward into this monthly cycle. The New Moon that comes along on Friday, November 5th, provides you plenty of fresh energy for both outer and inner work. You are changing right now at the very core of your being, accepting and admitting the dark places within you and the dream imagination necessary to take you there. You are subject to unusual events at this time, especially with Venus still in retrograde motion through your sector of career and professional life, where the Scorpio New Moon also sits, and it is difficult to sort out the meaning of these events in terms of a mystical context that is also very present for you now. Your basis for security is in one way threatened and in another way enhanced, depending on how you look at things. If you conceive of this basis as purely material or financial, then deep confusion about where the next dollar is coming from is rampant for you now, and interferes with your peace of mind. But if you can muster the courage to "let go and let god," as they say, than you might be able to find an entirely different basis for security within your soul by trusting in the power of the universe to sustain you. There could be painful issues in this area of your life unless and until you can work this conundrum out by concretely accepting the messages from the cosmos which are your guidance right now. You still must do everything that you need to do out there in the real world, it is only your attitude that changes, but when that change takes place, like a figure and ground reversal, it changes everything. The First Quarter Moon of Saturday, November 13th, might throw up a few obstacles on your road to progress. You can always find the up side of conflicts that might arise, since they are on one level directing you to synthesize differing viewpoints into a third possibility. The times are ripe for this kind of thinking now, which is of course badly needed everywhere. It is especially useful in your case. The Full Moon of Sunday, November 21st, is a culmination of the arc of development represented by the previous two weeks and might represent a more peaceful and fulfilled time period. Then the Last Quarter Moon of the 28th signals a juncture when you will be integrating the lessons learned and preparing for the next phase of your quest. Over this entire monthly period, you are striving mightily and also peacefully contending with your future. Although your progress could seem slow at times, it helps to remember that you are in just the right place and at just the right time, for the eventual breakthrough that you seek.
