Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

This is a powerful monthly period for you Aquarius, a most magical time of the year. You are participating and somehow also not, suspended between realities of past and future and yet separate from each of these more productive bookends to this current time frame. Your head is only halfway embraced by the so-called real world right now, while the other half rests among the stars and dreams of what is not revealed by simple logic. Financial success comes knocking, but as you are at least partially surprised to learn, it is not sufficient to make up your happiness. Veils of illusion suddenly part, and then close again, but leave you knowing that there are wonders of the universe that underlie all that you say and do and that yet remain largely unseen.

As the month begins, you are dealing with the distinction between hard logic and fuzzy intuition, both very important parts of your makeup and both emphasized as factors for you right now. With the Solar Eclipse taking place on Tuesday, January 4th, in your sector of dreams, the fuzziness is perhaps more greatly highlighted, so that you are half in waking dream space as you go about your daily tasks. Success in terms of the real world does not seem to count so much as successful conclusions to these deeper meditations. You are finding yourself interacting with a series of surprising events that might serve to crystallize in your mind the true non-causal nature of the universe that surrounds you. This goes against your scientific bent, but true science admits of knowledge not covered by existing paradigms. At the time of this crucial New Moon you are also perhaps making progress on identifying some of the inner places where you are stuck in old patterns that seem to dissolve when you look closely at them, but which then reappear when you least want them to. The trick might be to direct a sideways glance at these internal difficult places the way astronomers do at stars to faint too see with normal direct vision. You might be surprised by the outcome. Accepting the existence of these hidden complexes, the residue of early trauma, is at least half the battle. The First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, January 12th, might present you with a few bumps in the road of your progress. You have a contentious nature now, and you do well to direct it toward problem solving rather than at anyone you encounter within the circle of your peer-to-peer relationships. Some important and deeply buried part of yourself is struggling to emerge from its cave and these are essentially its birth pangs. The Full Moon of Wednesday, January 19th, ushers in a calmer and more centered time period, when a better balance is struck between disparate parts of your psyche and when significant others in your life provide helpful encouragement for your own process. You have been through an enormous cycle over the past few weeks of mulling over your choices and only now are you prepared to come down on one side or the other of many of them. With the last ten days of the month you are entering into a more outwardly motivated period when you can reap the benefits of the previous weeks of internal struggle and of communing with your spirit guides.
