Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)

It's a curious universe that you find yourself in these days, Aquarius. There's important development that awaits you this month and it partakes of revisiting your roots. You are drawn toward the mystical, and to your psychological grounding. Startling information continues to come your way and it might be the occasion for a learning experience that transcends any that you had in school, giving you the chance to complete the course work for a more unusual diploma than the one that you wound up with. You are building the foundation for a different type of service to the world at large, and although in one way nothing is certain any more, in another that makes for a refreshing change, and a return to wonder.

As the month begins, you are energized in the area of communication with your peers, and regarding information received. You might be tempted to espouse rather adamantly a particular point of view that you feel passionate about, although it might be better to listen as well as expound. Your view of your mental environment is changing right before your eyes, so long as you allow them to remain open enough to perceive this. Surprising and even startling news is fairly commonplace these days but there are novel conclusions to be drawn from your current conundrums. The New Moon of late Monday evening, May 2nd, brings loads of fresh energy to bear on your situation. You are longing for the comfort and safety of an invaluable home space, a safe harbor to relax within, and you might partially find it. It is important however not to give up the search for further insight and greater understanding of your situation in the attempt to live out of a past sense of security that may no longer really exist. It could be the illusion of security, financial or otherwise, that you are chasing. Your idealism is strong right now, and it can be tempting to ignore the actual results of your investigations, in favor of ideas that may temporarily sooth you but which have no staying power over the course of time. This summer's revelations will represent in some ways a departure from former beliefs, or at least a radical adjustment. The First Quarter Moon, of Tuesday, May 10th, might bring some of these pressures to bear as you find the drawbacks in what you are attempting over this monthly cycle. There might be interpersonal tensions that come up for you at this time. Significant partners help to prepare the way for a new notion of what you are about, perhaps by sniping at dearly held illusions of yours that only they can discern. It is said that no one can see the pack that they themselves carry, so that it might be wise to listen first and shoot down later, instead of the other way round. The Full Moon a week later, taking place on Tuesday, May 17th, represents another and more solid occasion for breakthrough. You might be experiencing this period of time as tough love on the part of the universe, or of others around you, but it is still love. The universe has its priorities that might differ from yours at the level of personality and yet still align with what your Higher Self has in mind. With the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, May 24th, you could be feeling older and also wiser than when you began. This is a time for reassessment and also a time when you are even more greatly tempted to believe what you are thinking even in the face of strong evidence to the contrary. It is useful to recognize that without some of your habitual thought you would not only still be yourself but perhaps enabled to go through life a little lighter.
