Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)

This is a huge month for progress, Aquarius, but it is progress of an unusual kind. Your creativity is on fire with loads of artistic production going on and also realizations regarding how the world around you ticks. Your energy is focused more than usual on home and family and the exploration of your inner world. Past patterns of behavior could come to light as a result and be up for review and revision. This all serves to further an incipient transformation of ideals and values that has been ongoing but underground and now burgeoning to the surface of your awareness. You are fully present to the world of events and circumstances but it is your own changing internal compass to which you are ultimately attuned.

As the month begins, you are internally centered and yet reaching out to others in new ways. There are places within your self-concept – and with respect to your conception of the world around you – that you have been stuck at for far too long and that might begin to yield during this monthly cycle. You are in the midst of a powerful process of renewal and essentially of reinventing yourself yet again; reaching into the secret corners of your mind and heart for the clues to unlock your current existence and enable your progress to once again flow forward. The days following the eclipse, as Jupiter enters your sector of home and family, are also quite significant in terms of greater connection with your own internal process of intuition and with a renewed basis for psychological and material security. The difficulty that continues to present obstacles as well as solutions lies in the extreme polarity of these times of ours, from which you are not only not exempt but perhaps even more susceptible than most. Nothing is as easy or simple as it seemed conceptually in the offing. Everything that moves you forward toward necessary personal and professional development also has its dark undertow pulling in the opposite direction. This is a time when you are making peace with formlessness and lack of concrete progress, as long as a sense of spiritual development remains accessible to you. Music and poetry are your allies now that can convey to you more precisely the expanded universe that you find yourself in, and its true aims. You are reaching for a balance point between the concretely practical and the world of wild imagination that characterizes your dreams. The Summer Solstice takes place on the 21st, and represents another peak moment of transformational intensity and the active imagination that creates one part of a more peaceful solution. The Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, June 23rd, is another crucial juncture for you when you are looking back as well as forward. This last week of the month stresses communication and taking care of the day-to-day business in front of you over passivity in the search for synthesis and seed wisdom to take forward into the following month.
