Aquarius Horoscope (January 20 - February 18)
Fixed Air. Your ruling planets are Uranus and Saturn.

You are making your way through to a new sense of freedom, Aquarius, and in the process redefining your very identity. You are also recharging your perspective on life in general. Everything that you have thought and known up to now is subject to change, and sometimes surprisingly rapid change. You are searching for a way into the future that allows you breathing room, and even though this is currently unfolding for you, you might resist novel approaches there and quail at these radically different locks on the doors of your destiny. As you attempt to find the keys to fit these new locks, your core center is activated, as well as the true goals of your Higher Self and of your purpose going forward.

As the month begins, you find yourself in the midst of a powerful alteration of perspective. This is the equivalent of foreign travel, and it could take place within the confines of your own mind, or perhaps more literally. In any case you are suddenly able to see in your situation what you earlier could not, and it changes everything. This new way of looking at the events transpiring in your life partakes of both reality-orientation and wild-eyed optimism, and is setting the stage for the next phase of your journey toward wholeness. You are opening up to a more inclusive sense of the multi-layered surrounding cosmos, where nothing is as simple as it seems, and yet in another way it is. What you see, at the end of all this analysis, is remarkably what you get; only there is a long and winding road that had to be traversed to arrive at the actual point. The First Quarter Moon that comes along at the beginning of the first full week of the month, on Monday, October 3rd, in this context will likely be a testing time when significant partners step up their active participation in your life. The question is how the different point of view that they provide can be seen as a win-win regarding the prospects for your own arc of development. There is certain to be something to be learned from your own inner reality, and these depths of yours are mirrored in the eyes of those who know you well. You can make the best of things by checking out very carefully whatever comes up for you now, and by refusing to take your first reaction for granted as pertaining to the truth of what is going on for you or regarding your interactions with others. The Full Moon of Tuesday, October 11th, naturally brings up the issue of balance. It helps when you are able to hold the most diverse possible set of alternatives in your psyche. Certainly you must take a stand for what you truly believe, but you need to avoid dogmatism and exclusivity, at least to the extent that it is possible to do so. And equally, your communication lines with others around you benefit by staying as open as possible without unduly compromising your position. With the Last Quarter Moon of Wednesday, October 19th, you are in a reflective mode, meditating on what has gone before with the goal of further integrating the rich and ultimately enlightening series of realizations that have been flooding into your awareness. Taking a little down time in this lunar phase is good for the soul, and a necessary pause before the action begins again with the next dynamic configuration toward month�s end. This next New Moon, taking place on October 26th in your career sector, though not quite as cataclysmic as the one just passed, is plenty powerful for you as well, so that your evolutionary development continues into the following month.
