Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)
Cardinal Fire. Your ruling planet is Mars.

This is a most important New Year turning point, Aries. At a time when your public statement is paramount, you are trying to find yourself in some new and possibly frightening ways that involve really digging down into your personal contribution and reevaluating its net worth. You are in the midst of the biggest possible changes in the way you see your universe, and these reverberate through all the parts of your life. You are traveling through the world very differently; entering into a fundamentally positive period that depending on how you look at it may be either wildly optimistic or just finally pulling yourself beyond previously felt limitations.

As the month and the year begin, you are taking your career participation to new levels, based on a fresh understanding of the world around you that has only just recently clicked into place. The last ten days of December were an important transition time for you into a new way of thinking and perceiving. As the New Year takes off you are ready to do the same. You are also somewhat tempted to hold back and stay with the rut that you have been enmired in for so long. So many times we embrace the trouble that at least we know, inside and out, rather than that which we do not. But life consists not only of taking risks but in knowing which risks to take. The Full Moon of January 3rd contributes to your ambivalent attitude. You are raring to go, fully out there in the real world of contacts and confidants, strutting your stuff, and also simultaneously occupying a small and vitally important space behind your mind, where fireworks are also going off, but internally. With the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, January 11th, you are feeling the pressure to bust out of your self-imposed jail and also the realization of where you can and where you can't just yet. There is a powerful conservative force in you at this time that may be in the business of denying you your fun, although there is also the urge to burn bridges and get on with the show. The secret may lie in the balance of inner and outer, not leaving either mode of your activity entirely out of the picture. The following week's entrance of your ruler Mars into your career sector on the 16th may be the push that you need to get something moving, and the subsequent New Moon of Thursday the 18th takes you even further down your path of growth. During this current cycle, as the evolutionary pressure on you only gets stronger, at some point you will have no choice but to let go. As you burst into this brave new world of your own creation, like a champagne cork out of a bottle, you'll be glad that you did.
