Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)
Cardinal Fire. Your ruling planet is Mars.

This is an important time for you Aries, and one that is also just a bit conflicted. You are wild about new goals for your life, full of social activism and vision for the future. What you vision for yourself is powerful at this time, although you might want to wait to act until you are sure. Saturn is sitting in your service sector and enjoining you to go slow with your plans for the moment. At the time of the February 9th Lunar Eclipse you will likely feel both the push and the pull of these energies. As the month wears on, you are a little confused but still full of idealism. You are getting a better handle on how your dreams and schemes might eventually pan out, and that is enough for now. Keep the faith and you will ultimately be fully rewarded.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave of the recent Solar Eclipse in your sector of societal connection and future plans. Since the eclipse was also in close conjunction with expansive Jupiter, you are full to the brim with positive energy for setting goals and moving forward in your life. Although with Mercury just turning to direct motion and still well within its retrograde shadow, it might be best to wait for a couple of weeks before taking any brand new decisive action. Saturn is also a big factor for you right now, representing limitation. Since Saturn occupies the sector of your discipleship to your highest purpose for yourself, your mind is set on service to the greater collective. The Saturnian archetype of hardship and hard-fought lessons forms an interesting counterpoint to the Jupiterian expansiveness and idealism that is also very present these days in your psychological atmosphere. You are essentially being taken into an entirely different dimension. You win when you pay careful attention to the hidden and less visible side of life at this time, as well as to the surface. As the poet says, the core and the surface are essentially the same, different manifestations of the same impulse that is vibrating within your soul, the divine impulse. You benefit by making sure that it's truly your own and not merely a series of knee-jerk reactions based on your conditioning. When the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse rolls around at the beginning of the second week of the month, on Monday, February 9th, you will have an opportunity to see the flowering of some of these ideas, which will present themselves to your more experienced viewpoint with even more facets than when first encountered. Natural spirituality could also become an important component at this time, as you seek to distinguish an underlying magical reality, you could call it Reality with a capital "R," from the more mundane variety. It is also possible that you will be exposed to old patterns of interaction that have outlived their usefulness in your present state of awareness. If so, these traumas come to your attention for purpose of moving past them. This does not translate to escape, but rather to integration and eventual acceptance. The remainder of the month follows the lead of these first ten days, which represent the climactic period. An opening for greater awareness comes with the Last Quarter Moon of the 16th. The Pisces New Moon of Tuesday, February 24th represents a time of further integration, when otherworldly values once again strongly assert themselves. You are learning, over time, that it just doesn't pay to leave Spirit entirely out of the equation.
