Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)
Cardinal Fire. Your ruling planet is Mars.

You are mulling over your possibilities, Aries, and right now this seems to involve others as well as yourself. A concept of right relationship is called forth, and the question is making it stick. You are forging links to a better and more integrated future for yourself and everyone around you by a process of reassessing what counts for achievement and where you might find freedom from the oppression of the past. Early in the month you are summoned before the tribunal of your inner critics to see what you are made of. You do best when you neither affirm nor deny but ask the more pertinent question: "where do we go from here?"

As the month begins, you are finding the uses of adversity. This is an amazing time for you when everything is possible and when the limitations of your situation are also painfully evident. Your dreams and schemes for a better future for yourself have never been closer to fruition, and it is true that intention will take you far, and yet there is hard work indicated as well in order to get you there. At the time of the August 5th Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse you will be put through the proverbial wringer as you participate in both of these levels simultaneously, the joy of new creation and intentional manifestation, and the rigor of making something concrete emerge from this idealistic vision. You are very other-oriented at this time, seeming to sense that the matrix for your most successful activity lies with active partnership in a homey environment. Of course, the most significant breakthrough that you can make in this way involves deeper connection with yourself and within the bounds of your own inner universe. The Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, August 13th, brings you to an interesting state of knowledge. You are closer to defining your ideal and yet also more fully ready to acknowledge where that ideal may need to compromise in order to fit the realities of your situation. It might seem particularly painful to see the shortcomings of what you can concretely accomplish but with this understanding comes the practical possibility of actually achieving what remains. The New Moon of Thursday, August 20th, may represent a welcome relief, since the fresh energy of the lunar cycle gives an impetus for pushing through with your deepest desires for both personal and societal change. Once again the conflict looms however, in even more poignant colors, of the ideal versus the concretely realizable.
