Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)

For everything, Aries, there is a season, and this is the time to pull back and turn contemplative regarding the changes that are still coming down. You are entering an almost holy space of time in which nothing is entirely as it seems and where partners protect you and also challenge you within your deep dream of eventual rebirth. Partnership is powerful for you during this time, bringing limitation to the way that you manifest the important relationships in your life, and also a sense of fulfillment. A certain fuzziness you are experiencing feels somehow correct although perhaps startlingly so from the standpoint of a strictly logical viewpoint.

As the month begins, you are deep in a brown study, feeling pulled to the inside by the ongoing Mercury retrograde period as you examine your role in this life and how far it goes toward matching up with soul purpose as you currently understand that concept. There's a way you've been extremely productive lately and yet in another way you are paradoxically out of step, productive but not in any sense of the word that matches up with consensus thinking. Your beliefs have been changing lately as well. You are starting to get the idea of a different raison d'etre for the life of worldly activities, one that takes as its basis a more definite reliance on the unseen aspects of the universe and of human nature. At the time of the New Moon of Wednesday, September 8th, there is fresh energy for your purpose, and it only remains for you to figure out what exactly that purpose truly is. It is likely that your sense of mission in this lifetime will be enhanced by the arc of development that you are experiencing over the course of this month. It is an on-going process of understanding that takes you ever closer to the goal of finally getting what it is that you came here to do and be. The First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, September 14th, might put further wrinkles in your brain around these issues as you struggle somewhat with how you might actually instantiate some of the ideas emerging out of cosmic consciousness for you in recent weeks. You are also putting some of the new concepts to practical tests, in terms of health and fitness programs which could be one focus now, and also issues of intimacy that could be coming up for you as you struggle to integrate novel concepts of relating and of soul growth within the mundane round of ordinary life events. With the Fall Equinox and Full Moon of Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, September 22nd and 23rd, you are striving for a new balance point of all areas of your life. This is particularly evident in the way that you actualize yourself and bring your forces to bear in the outer world of career and professional achievement, which continues to represent a moving target for you. This is a time when you will appreciate how far you have come, and also perhaps recognize how far you still have to go to get to the place that you really want to be. In any case, it is worth remembering that nothing worthwhile comes easily. As the poet says, once it is that you have climbed to the very top of the mountain, you become aware of the higher summit that still awaits you, as "hills peep over hills, and Alps on Alps arise!"
