Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)
Cardinal Fire. Your ruling planet is Mars.

Life just keeps moving, Aries. You are seeing things differently than you did even a few short weeks ago, in the midst of the powerful energy for change that you have been embodying lately. You are engaging in a new understanding of the dance that the universe goes through as it does its best work, and of your place within it. Unexpected enlightenment comes in the second week of the month, and helps to break you still further free of the "mind-forged manacles" that have perpetuated your unconscious intention of holding yourself back. Climaxing with the 21st, and continuing into the New Year, business ideas merge with mystical common sense, taking you farther into the depths of your own psyche and back out again than you ever would have thought possible.

As the month begins, you are still somewhat reeling from the final ten days of November - and a very special Thanksgiving Holiday season in America. There were undoubtedly plentiful occasions for spiritual realization as well as deep process work of all kinds, as indicated in the powerful transits from the time of the November 21st Full Moon onwards. You have the chance to make the most of this period of time by choosing reflection over reactivity and inner process work and journaling over the blame game. It is a particularly good time for you to begin fulfilling a daily blog or journal, with Mercury, ruler of thoughts, communication and the logical mind, located in or near your career sector – your Tenth House - for the remainder of the year. Mercury retrogrades from December 10th until the 29th, and for these three weeks, and even for two weeks or so following this retrograde period, you will be carefully rethinking what you have to offer to the world at large. Your ruler Mars also conjuncts Mercury together with Pluto at mid-month, most intensely from the 13th to the 15th so that this is a very good time for inner work and for attempting to master any reactivity that might come up for you. Because your Tenth House is your outlet to the world you might find that you are especially prone to anger and deep emotional connection with others at this mid-month time. Leading up to the Mercury retrograde, the New Moon in your sector of beliefs and higher mind takes place on Sunday, December 5th. Mercury is already conjunct to Pluto, and this is a powerful time both mentally and emotionally. You could tend to be dogmatic regarding your beliefs, and you might want to guard against inflexible opinions that are uttered carelessly without regard to the positions of others around you. This would be true is some fashion from now right up until the end of the month. You are exploring a new way of being in the world, one that takes your inner depths much more into account than formerly. This gives you several differing and definitely new takes on your situation, and although one is a sense of unbridled optimism and idealism, another is despair over the inherent difficulties in coming to a truly loving perspective. This is perhaps a stance that you know you would like to have but which evades you. Perhaps a third way might be found in a middle ground wherein you accept that you are doing the best that you can, and make the most of your grief and pain; at least you are feeling your feelings – much better than stuffing them inside yourself and denying the access. Which the First Quarter Moon of Monday, December 13th you are more fully cognizant of these issues and digging through the darkness inside yourself for the light that ends the tunnel, and perhaps suddenly finding it, or at least coming to it in fits and starts. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of December 21st, coincident with the Winter Solstice, is a difficult time of transition, when you are moving more powerfully forward and embracing your destiny although being held back in contemplation by the Mercury retrograde, which is still ongoing. This is also paradoxically a more joyful opportunity for you to shine by your own rather than by reflected illumination. The time has come to seize the moment and just go with it, which will be even more clearly felt after the beginning of the year.
