Your future is calling, Cancer. Preoccupations with home and family and security concerns lead you through this unfolding stretch of time into novel directions for your outer world presentation. You are finding painful progress in relationship considerations as a long-term result, but the major thrust of this period lies in settling into some very different notions of where your angel guidance is taking you, this time around. It can at times be very good to remember that while the structure of your life is changing, the core remains the same.

As the month begins, you find yourself getting closer and closer to your tribal relations that form such an important part of your life. You are nurturing others as you naturally do through maintaining these connections, and nurturing yourself as well through the types of family-oriented activities that you are currently engaged in. You may be reflecting on the ways that your core values form the emotional basis for your security. It also may be that the logjam in your financial picture is beginning to break up, since a shift is in some way indicated during this current monthly cycle. Perhaps it is your attitude toward your material situation that will undergo transformation. The Full Moon that comes along on the first Friday of the month, the 6th of October, brings the concept of balance along with it. You are integrating your family background and home-based activity with your creative presence in the world, scintillating lately and subject to your most enthusiastic thought and communicative process. Your outer world presentation is depending in new ways on both your internal security needs and your concept of where you are currently heading with your plans and objectives in order to achieve them. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday the 13th gives you the impetus to challenge some long-held assumptions regarding the conflict between the practicalities pf daily life and the ideals that you hold dear. Maybe you can't have your cake and eat it too although you won't give up without a fight. These considerations take place along the way to the New Moon break-through of the last part of the current month. This New Moon takes place on Saturday, October 21st, and presages a different talk for you as well as a different way to walk it. The First Quarter Moon that comes along a week later, on Sunday the 29th, may however be emotionally stressful, as you see more clearly the drawbacks to your approach. Over the next few weeks, as Mercury retrogrades though your sector of creative self-expression, you will find many different ways to see things, without likely settling on any one of them. It might be best to stay tentative. It is usually not advised to push the river over this period, preferring to take a wait and see approach until after the end of November.
