Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)
Cardinal Water. Your ruling planet is The Moon.

You are learning how to survive in mid-air, and that has its advantages for you these days, Cancer. You are looking for solidity and failing to be entirely satisfied that you have found it, as you engage in a soulful process of interior exploration that becomes even more pronounced in the latter half of the month. You are stretching to include within your belief system the concept that paradoxical reasoning has its place at the table of your inner work. Even the resolution of opposites makes sense from a sufficiently elevated perspective.

As the month begins, you are finding a fresh sense of dedication to the mystical part of yourself. Your participation in the innermost workings of the universe is becoming more obvious, as you in-dwell in the misty places behind and beyond your conscious mind. There is a paradoxical juxtaposition that everyone is facing right now and that you are feeling particularly strongly, regarding what makes sense from a practical and real-world oriented point of view versus what makes sense from another and more mysterious standpoint altogether. As you are feel the thesis and antithesis of this conundrum you intuitively seek the synthesis of a third option. In this regard the lightening flash of inspiration is key, and you may feel that spark of epiphany that unites the seeming opposites most particularly at the time of the Last Quarter Moon on Friday, June 8th. This is when the possibilities of what you have been working out come up against the pressure of real-world limitation. Although you may feel some degree of tension in the mix of energies at this time, this is also a time when your wisdom soars in response to what you have been trying for whether or not that attempt has actually succeeded. The New Moon that follows almost one week later, on Thursday, June 14th, brings a powerfully active mental process to bear on your situation. You are active and yet also very much operating on internal levels at this time. With Mercury also retrograding through your sign starting the next day, on Friday June 15th, you are likely to be mulling things over rather than jumping into decisive action, and that is the best way to approach this time period. Mercury will be less than fully available for outer directed thought process for five weeks or more, when you include the period of the retrograde shadow. Even when the Sun enters your sign with the Summer Solstice, although this is normally a time of outer-directed thought and activity for you, the planetary configurations call for thoughtful stillness and deep transformation. This latter half of the month is a crazy-making period from the standpoint of the consensus, and of the impatient part of you that just wants to get things done.
