Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)
Cardinal Water. Your ruling planet is The Moon.

This month is a time of doing as well as being, Cancer. Your ship is leaving for far distant horizons, and you had better be sure to be on it when it does. It may not even leave you time to pack your bags. You are in the process of totally reconceptualizing where your life is taking you, and how significant partners fit into the picture, and that is only the start. Relationships can be amazing for you when you realize that you don't need to make empty compromises with what you really want, and that everyone around you will applaud your refusal to do so. You might as well face up to the new you and begin to enjoy the ride. This just isn't Kansas anymore.

As the month begins, you are inching toward a new way of showing up in the world. You may have been feeling confused lately by the pressure of events, and by the pressure of evolutionary change coming through these events to stimulate your life process. The idea of change has been manifesting in your life all this year by means of your response to close relationship with others that leads you back to yourself as the final answer. In the first weekend of the month, the Aries New Moon of Saturday evening, April 5th, lights up your goal orientation and energizes the beneficial elements of partnership interaction for your life. As it does, you are called forth to make your stand. You are out there doing what comes naturally, with optimism and flair, almost automatically taking your place in the world of outer achievement while simultaneously remaining hyper-aware of just how relationship factors into your life. Both sides of your partnership dynamic, the functional and less than fully functional, will be up for examination during the course of this month, and for potentially moving beyond conflicting motives into new territory. The First Quarter Moon in your sign that comes along a week later, on Saturday, April 12th, may be somewhat of a testing time for you, when you place your focus on getting clearer on how others are simultaneously there for you and yet not, since you are the one who must ultimately make it all happen. Relationship is a tangled web that may eventually prove quite fruitful for you, after your efforts to sort it out. The good news is that the timing could not be better for getting a more solid handle on old patterns of partnership interaction that no longer serve you. Intimacy with others is scary and complex, perhaps confusing in the short term, and also an important goal of yours right now to master. The trick of course is to serve yourself in the process of serving others. The Full Moon of the following weekend, April 19th and 20th, presents you with a better idea of where you are going with all this, and how you might be able to integrate the compensatory changes that are coming up for you right now in a fairly massive way. You needn't be afraid of the wave of transformation or try to dodge; things go better when you dive right into the turbulence where you are in any case going and begin swimming rather than allow yourself to be swept away. Toward month's end, the Last Quarter Moon of April 28th brings greater consciousness of your situation as you deal with intimacy concerns in a new way and prepare to make a fresh start on life goals over the course of the next few weeks.
