This is a soulful period for you Cancer, when your self-fulfillment and your nurturing of others is coalescing into greater wholeness all around. This is also a great time to vision new possibilities for yourself into being; perhaps the best chance that you will have all year to do so. Your perspective shifts are therefore quite valuable and timely, coming as they do in an era of expansion and morphing of your partnership patterns. You are changing the way that you do relationship, giving up your fears and choosing to breathe in the possibility of self-transcendence through the agency of important partners in your life, but not defined by either their criticism or their approbation.

As the month begins, you are feeling your way toward a new perspective on your life and the belief systems that support it. When the Moon enters your sector of career and professional life on the 2nd, you are feeling ready to explore the world of outer achievement and public commitment from a different standpoint. You are taking your exploration of life quite seriously at this time, intending to make a difference with concrete actions rather than with lofty ideas. The New Moon of Monday, May 5th, taking place in your sector of wishes and group associations and future plans, gives you a real burst of energy for making something happen in this regard, as well as for visioning new possibilities for yourself going forward. The two weeks following this New Moon represent the best chance that you'll have all year for dreaming large and having those dreams work themselves out in practical fashion, and the first few days of this period are the best. You have a tremendous amount of energy right now for both visualizing the unique possibility for yourself and for manifesting what you want, so that you do well to make the most of this opportunity. The First Quarter Moon of Sunday, May 11th, and the days immediately preceding it are the crux of the two weeks of the waxing Moon, when you will feel very connected with philosophical changes in worldview and with helpful partners who may assist you in attempting to embody it. The Full Moon that follows a week later, taking place on Monday, May 19th, will be the tipping point between where you are going and where you have been, as both factors are powerfully configured for you at this time. As the end of the month approaches and Mercury retrogrades, particularly in the days surrounding the 27th, you will be drawn into a more introspective stance, and are likely to spend time thinking and re-thinking the recent approach you have taken to your future.
