This is an expansive and essentially positive month for you, Gemini, in which social and partnering initiatives take you further along your own path. Ready or not, you are experiencing an educational broadening of perspective as this cycle unfolds, reaching out to everyone around you from a responsible and yet wild point of view that is uniquely your own. As you get past the mid-month Full Moon, your ideas begin to shift and deepen, and your own inner process beckons you on, to the edge of some even more profound way of thought. You are headed for an important breakthrough that tunes you in regarding how your very being stems from tribal and familial roots.

As the month begins, you are digging into your home turf for all you are worth, reveling in family ties of one kind or another. You are very committed to good connections with others at this time, from a communicative as well as a partnering point of view. You may choose either written/electronic or verbal forms of outreach, but whatever the medium you will be serious about getting your message across, and perhaps even hold back from superficial contact, looking for something deeper. This is an excellent time to journal or to write for eventual public consumption. The first weekend of the month, culminating in the First Quarter Moon of Sunday, September 7th, may seem a bit anxious, but overall you are in an excellent and grounded space within yourself. Any temporary trauma that comes to the fore over this weekend will be for the purpose of exposing some long-buried issues that could benefit from being aired out. The Full Moon that follows one week later, taking place on Sunday night and early Monday morning, September 15th, represents a climax of sorts to what you are discovering about yourself, and about partnership with others, at this time. There may be a sudden epiphany going off in your brain at this time or just some new development in your understanding of events that needs sorting out. The Last Quarter Moon of the 21st presents you with more of the paradoxical nature of the universe in the form of a conundrum: how can you satisfy your own needs while remaining sensitive to the needs of others? You are experiencing over the next few months the transformation of your relationship dynamic into a more conscious and loving act of sharing. While doing so you must also remain aware of your own side of the equation. The Mercury retrograde period of time which is initiated a few days later, on the 24th, and which runs all the way through October, will be a good time to meditate on these and other philosophical issues as you delve within yourself for what might not turn out to be all the answers but at least better questions. The New Moon of the 29th on nearly the very last day to the month gives you great energy for finding yourself through exploring your roots and your important bonds with home and family.
