This is a big month for you, Cancer, in the midst of an important year. Perspectives shift and with these changes the world opens up to you anew. This is a time for you to make inroads into the future self that you will soon inhabit, a departure from your present self in many ways and yet a continuation also. For the first half of the month the seed is forming and for the second it is growing, and all the while you are conscious of the shift that is taking place. You are a stronger stand for yourself than ever you realized; that much is becoming readily apparent.

As the month begins, you are feeling the pull of the recent and powerful New Moon from the middle of last month, which took place in your sector of higher mind. This ushered in a time when a great many ideas were being floated by you and by everyone, and when you in particular might feel that your belief system is shifting in its tracks to yield to a new way of being in the world. Along with a plethora of new ideas, what is changing mightily for you at this time are your plans and how you think your way forward into an imaginable future. From April 1st onward you are feeling your way out of past patterns into a brave new world of your own making. With the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 6th, you are coming into a crucial time when you might wind up questioning many of these new-found goals. This is a time of revision and major decision-remaking that involves important partners in your life as well as yourself. These individuals might seem disruptive at first glance, but a closer look reveals that they are in fact helping to see your way through. It is a difficult highway that you are putting yourself on right now, and these persons are acting as catalysts for your own process of growth and change. The New Moon that comes along a week later, on Wednesday, April 14th, gives you plenty of energy for your development and gives you the impetus to leap tall buildings in the pursuit of your ideas for what you want to accomplish in this world. A few days later however, as Mercury retrogrades for the next three to five weeks, you are entering an interesting period of time when you have plenty of go-power, and yet when also Mercury is retrograding through your sector of group affiliation, causing you to rethink plans and commitments in this area. This sector also symbolizes wishes, hope, and plans for the future. The retrograde period lasts until nearly the end of May, with highlights on April 21st, 28th, and May 11th, when it stations direct at the beginning of Taurus. This is a period when everyone is more reflective and introspective, and in your case, a time when all your vibrant and active energy has no effective real-world outlet. You must be content to watch and wait, and refrain from pushing the river until at least mid-May. The Full Moon of Wednesday, April 28th, is a powerful time when all these contrary forces are brought to a head, and when you will be thinking earnestly about your future. Although stymied in your progress, you continue to imagine worlds within worlds of possibilities for yourself, going forward.
