Your world is changing, Cancer, and information is the enabler. In spite of multiple levels of feelings, it is ideas that have your attention right now, and your ideas change everything. You are continuing to experience the tides of change that have been active all summer. It seems in some ways that it is an embattled stand that you are taking but you are also empowered to handle it and stay the course. It is a painful place that you are visiting as your philosophical viewpoint and your deep emotional basis transforms. Not all of this transition can be pleasant, including partnership fluctuations; but all is necessary however for your evolving emotional health.

As the month begins, you are contemplating the deeper layers of your existence. Mercury remains still retrograde in your communications sector, and you are in a reflective rather than an outgoing mode. Your conversation, when you feel like making it, is very likely slow and serious now, and dwelling on cosmic verities. It's an ideal time for journaling. There have been developments from the past few months of an entirely revolutionary nature, and they have not perhaps been fully integrated into your day-to-day thoughts. These radical challenges to your more ordinary thinking involve your relationship dynamic with significant partners in your life and how this affects the exteriorization of your private self out into the world. In this first week of the new month you are busily mulling over these and other way stations in your progress toward transcendence. Mercury conjoins the Sun on Friday, September 3rd, and this signals a time when you will find yourself even more internal, and embracing or else resisting the transformation that is currently coming over you. The New Moon of the following week, taking place on Wednesday, September 8th, represents a powerful tide of new energy for this process of integration. You are now in a more communicative mode with others around you, although with Mercury still retrograde there could be more wavering and introspection than action in this regard. Of course it is well to allow yourself the leisure to contemplate, and not necessarily to be always doing, even though this notion runs against the grain of modern fast-paced industrial society. The First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, September 14th, might bring a moment of tension to your process as your vision for a personal new world order collides with the real-world requirements of practicality and the expectations of others. Mercury is still within its Zodiacal shadow for the next two weeks so that any hard-and-fast decisions might be better off if postponed, although this does remain an excellent time for research. With the Fall Equinox and Full Moon of the 23rd, the time has come for you to acknowledge the depth of the changes that have been in motion for many weeks now. Although this is an ongoing process and the final results are not anywhere nearly all in, there is courage to be taken from the gains thus far. Sometimes the enormity of what has been achieved is only available with the perspective of time.
