Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)

You are moving ahead, Cancer. You have recently been puzzling out your understanding of the Universe and your place within it, and artistic inventiveness is now a major focus of your enquiry. There might also be a fated sense of destiny in relationships that you form over the next few weeks, as the Lunar North Node draws near to Pluto, lighting up your partnership sector in an unusual fashion. A foggy mysticism rules your close personal interactions these days, and leads you to novel conclusions regarding current life direction. You seek, as always, the path with heart, and you won't be satisfied with anything less. In the second half of the month, your creativity soars and finds new avenues of expression.

As the month begins, you are mulling over your self-expression and your ultimate life purpose in general. This is always a big question of course but one that is so huge that it is often ignored in favor of getting on with each particular moment of daily existence. You are inspired right now to move ahead with your work, just as Jesus was when he came of age; but it is recognizably a slow and steady process, not one to take lightly or to attack quickly, even though the impulse is also there to just get on with it. Each step along the way is significant, and takes you closer to your goal, especially if you can keep alert to the most subtle levels of meaning in all that transpires for you now. The New Moon of Friday, November 5th, brings with it fresh energy and the determination to persevere in your quest for wholeness. You are feeling out your way forward, closing your eyes to see, as the song goes, and bending your ear to hear the inner tune. It is important that you fully trust your intuition now, although also, paradoxically, you must trust your everyday mind as well to take the actions necessary for you to continue making progress on your journey. This is an essentially artistic time for you, in the larger sense that whenever you act from the true inner vision that inspires you, you make art. It is your own unique contribution, and yet it serves your fellow man as well for you make things clearer for others when you become clear about your own way forward. The First Quarter Moon of Saturday, November 13th, marks a time when you might find a few obstacles in the road to progress to contend with, and illusions that you might need to dodge. Your ideals are strong now, and take you far, but you must beware at this time the potential for over-idealizing possibilities for yourself or for connection with intimate others. You are seeing the world around you in new ways lately, breaking through barriers that have long held you back, and this is all to the good, but it does take getting used to. This is also a time when the drawbacks to your new vision might appear larger than they really are. Balance is, of course, the key, together with faith in your process and in the power of the universe to sustain you. The Full Moon that take place a week later, coming on Sunday, November 21st, represents another powerful juncture, a moment of relative fulfillment when you are yet challenged to integrate spiritual goals with practical concerns and when flights of fancy compete with a healthy sense of solid ground beneath your feet. This could also be a time when dysfunctional blueprints of relationship behavior come back to haunt you, perhaps in summary of the experiences of recent weeks when Venus, ruler of relationships and for you of family ties, has been retrograding through your sector of creativity and romance. Venus turned to direct movement a few days before this Full Moon, so that this time is one of shifting energy and awareness. If the consciousness does arise of old patterns and knee-jerk reactions to events out of prior conditioning, it is for the purpose of transcending them. The Last Quarter Moon of Sunday the 28th is another time of revelation, when you are reviewing the past three weeks of the Lunar cycle and accessing the lessons learned. There are inevitably things that did not fully work the way that you had planned and you might feel daunted in your quest. You are determined now too, and will let nothing stand in the way of your eventual breakthrough to the next level.
