Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)
Cardinal Water. Your ruling planet is The Moon.

This is your season, Cancer, and it is up to you to make the most of it. The eclipses of June provide seismic shocks that lead you to inner realizations that are startling and also life-changing. You are being called upon to exercise worldly activities in a new way that takes Spirit more fully into account. You could be rocking your existence after the June 21st Summer Solstice, although leading up to that time you are far more internally centered. This has been an interesting spring for you, as you weather the storms of major shake-ups and gather your energies to expand your capabilities in a truly mystical fashion. You wind up by assuming all the consensus thinking that has lead you to this point and then going beyond it.

As the month begins, you are intensely feeling the energy of the New Moon and Solar Eclipse from the very first day of the month, which takes place in your sector of dream imagination. You are pulled to the inside by this energy, to the detriment of living in the so-called real world around you that rather than actual seems instead like a fantasy mirage. Active imagination and dream life are now more fully present to you than the waking world. This sets the tone for the remainder of the lunar cycle, although by Friday, June 3rd, the Moon in your own sign will give you a feeling of comfort and a more secure footing in the world of concrete events. The following weekend also, Jupiter moves into your sector of future plans. You remain in quite an internal space for this period, with also the excitement of novel goals and friendship associations looming on the horizon. You are very future-oriented now, and yet also are pulled back by the past, and by a conservative motivation to work things out in the world of concretized reality as well as the one of dreams and fantasies. There is a tremendous collusion of heart and mind that is going on with you at this time, and it brings you into greater integration with regard to hidden factors within and your more conscious self. The First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, June 8th, represents a test of your ability to be agile and pull all these disparate factors together in a way that permits you to move ahead more freely with practical professional plans coupled to mystic vision, and yet also within the constraints imposed by your own internal standards. You are not completely letting go of the past and your early conditioning, however much you might be tempted by the new and the unknown. In one way you are exercising freedom from the tried and true systems of your childhood and yet in another way you are still bound to them. With the Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon of Wednesday, June 15th, you are reaching for a new synthesis. This is a time when the magic of your potential finally outweighs the negative or restrictive holdovers from the past, and when you are more completely and almost mystically drawn to a sense of a higher purpose in your life working through you. The Summer Solstice that comes along a few days later, on Tuesday, the 21st, represents another time of renewal. Of course this is always a significant time for you, ushering in as it does your birthday time of the year. With the Last Quarter Moon two days later, taking place on Thursday, June 23rd, you are coming into yourself even more fully. This is traditionally a time of new awareness great gains in the wisdom of your choices, as you reflect on where the activities and events of the past three weeks have lead you. With this particular monthly cycle it is also a time of exciting visions of what you might accomplish in the future. The remainder of the summer is especially powerful in regard to important changes that you might be able to make, starting with the following month of July that begins with yet another eclipse, this time in your sign.
