Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)
Cardinal Water. Your ruling planet is The Moon.

This is the first month of the rest of your life, Cancer. A new phase is upon you with the July 1st Solar Eclipse in your sign. You are now more fully yourself, and it might be best to simply accept the changes that continue to rain down. You recognize that you are being put through the ringer, but for good reason, as your work in the world and the way that you come across to others turns topsy-turvy as a result. This all goes better when you relax and let the cosmos have its way with you. As the poet says, �Why, that my chaff might fly, my grain lie shear and clear!� You are somehow allowing Spirit to mold you and sculpt you, removing whatever is not your truest self.

As the month begins, you are filled with the tremendous energy and emotion signaled by the powerful presence of the Solar Eclipse and New Moon in your sign. This month brings to a climax some of the issues that have been percolating though your mind and heart, such as how far off the beaten path you might need to go to find your true calling and whether it is fear that holds you back. You are in the midst of a perfect storm of internal controversy regarding these and other crucial life decisions, and struggling to find your way forward in the swirl of circumstance. Trusting in your own internal guidance is a good first step toward working your way out of these conundrums. The eclipse that takes place on Friday, July 1st, is a super-potent New Moon that highlights your intuitive belief in soul growth and change as well as your core resistance to it. You may have been considering career and professional moves that seem very far out, and yet somehow right for you and this month will bring these issues to the front burner. There have been good reasons to hold back, and the question is whether you are operating out of fear of the unknown or if your fundamentally conservative countering impulse is the grounding of good common sense. One or another of these conflicting points of view might get projected onto mentoring figures or significant partners, but these issues are really your own, and your own to sort out. There is no easy answer. You are after a higher synthesis of these viewpoints rather than an eternal conflict of polarizations. The First Quarter Moon of late of Thursday night and early Friday morning, July 7th and 8th, might provide further conflict as you actively engage these alternatives but in the intensification you might also be able to come to some better answers, that are more in line with soul purpose. This is a time when going to the inside of your own mind and heart will be extremely fruitful for you, allowing you to take back the more obvious projections on figures in your life or outer circumstances. This is also a time when you might be able to see more clearly into past patterns of dysfunction. These could come up for you in the tension of this moment and if they do, it presents you with the rare opportunity of acknowledging their existence and their influence over you. Such behaviors likely stem from early trauma and can trip you up in the present until and unless you are willing to accept these wounded parts of yourself and move beyond them. Recognizing their existence in your psyche and thus accepting your flaws is more than half the battle. The Full Moon of Thursday night and Friday morning, July 14th and 15th, also constitutes an important juncture, one in which you might be able to reach for solutions over problems. Partners in your life come into the picture as powerful allies who can aid you in finding your way forward, so long as you can work through the potential issues of maintaining healthy boundaries. The Last Quarter Moon of Friday, July 22nd, signals a time of mulling over what has come before with a view to synthesizing the information and making good use of it as a basis for further exploration. You are coming to see the plans that emerge spontaneously from your deep intuitive center as the key investment in a future that that you can really live with; one that works for you on all levels of your being.
