Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

If you are starting this New Year right, Capricorn, it will be a time of joyous surrender rather than holding on to a past that no longer counts for you. It is a party that you don't even have to dress for; you get a prize for just showing up. You are transforming at the core of your being and others in your life are fully involved. You are experiencing a cosmic sense of oneness with the world around you that opens up your security concerns to a broader spectrum that includes everybody. Mystical communication that feels divinely inspired may be one key. Your heartfelt participation is another.

As the month and the year begins, you are feeling the contrast of solitude and partnership, making your move into a new sense of self and doing so without either taking intimate others entirely into your picture nor downplaying their influence on your life. A delicate balance is required. Fortunately you are geared up for it in this New Year timeframe. Through it all you are taking the unseen realm of Spirit more fully into account than ever, which is one secret of the synthesis that you seek. In the middle of the first week of the month, at the time of the Full Moon in your opposite sign, you are of course drawn to the mystical Other in your life in all their various forms, but at the same time you are pulled to the personal point of view and the inner work required that matches outer with internal perspective. You are not naturally open to the extent that you may be called upon to be at this time, and there can be some inherent tension in your arc of development at this time, especially around the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday the 11th, when you may find yourself evaluating where and how you have arrived, over the course of the last few weeks, beginning with heart changes toward the end of December. Information comes to you rapidly at this time, and not always easily, although with an ultimate upside in terms of spiritual growth, as you can summon up faith in your process. The New Moon of the following week begins a new cycle, and one with positive movement in the direction of greater and more internally based security as long as you can see your way clear to that outcome. It's the old trick of glass half full or glass empty, a matter of attitude, in more ways than you are usually prepared to admit, even to yourself.
