Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

You are fumbling toward ecstasy, Capricorn, weaving your way through to the bag of gold at rainbow�s end by means of an inner process that words cannot entirely describe. The first part of this month is an excellent time to tune into deeper realities that underlie your universe while you are gathering your forces for breakthrough. With the advent of the Winter Solstice, when the Sun and then Jupiter enter your sign, you are charmingly coerced into a new form of relationship with the world around you, one that fully depends on how much you have learned throughout the dream awareness of the preceding weeks.

As the month begins, you are in the midst of a wild ride that will ultimately take you further than you ever thought you would be able to go. Relationship in your life is a changing landscape at the moment, as you explore the deeper aspects of your connections with others. You are also somewhat quiet and reflective at this time, mulling over your possibilities and gathering your forces. The New Moon of the second weekend of the month, taking place on Sunday, December 9th, serves as a springboard for you, but with your more internal viewpoint still very present. This connection to your inner world is very powerful for you right now, and will eventually lead you outward into the surrounding collective experience with a greater sense of integration of all your parts. One way that you may have felt disconnected from life itself in recent months directly involves your sense of alienation from your own deep center, and the opening is there right now for you to reconnect in this regard. This is powerful, and an opportunity, and should be taken advantage of in the best way possible to you, perhaps through meditation or other forms of spiritual practice, or perhaps simply through the recognition of the vast interior dimension of life that underlies the more normal outer perspective. As the cycle of this month unfolds, you will come to a more complete understanding of where all this is leading. The First Quarter Moon of the 17th takes you further into the contrast between interior realities and outer ones. Then the Winter Solstice hits on Friday, December 21st, when the Sun enters your sign, traditionally a very powerful time for you, and this year even more so. The sky is literally the limit for you right now. The Full Moon in your opposite sign two days later, on Sunday, December 23rd, implies that you are primed to bring others more firmly into the picture along with you. It is amazing how much better close interaction with significant others in your life feels when you are more solidly in touch with yourself.
