This is a pivotal month for you, Capricorn. Your finances are definitely looking up at this time, dating from the previous New Moon of the last week in January, but it is said truly that "all that glitters is not gold." Important life changes are being thrust upon you all this year and demand your focus. Stimulating conversations and information flow are the hallmarks of an exciting new phase that is slowly rocking your world. What glitters for you right now is the gold ring that you are reaching for at the very center of your experience that finances do not affect nor circumstances alter.

As the month begins, you are undergoing yet another shift in perspective, as Mercury regains its forward motion in your identity sector. Transformation continues apace in this year of change for you. Your values are one place that reflects the major reconsiderations and revisionings in this monthly cycle, which are nevertheless not a discontinuity from what has gone before. Logically, as you grow, your environment grows also, partly as a reflection and partly as a consequence of a new way of looking. This both an idealized and confusing and also an incredibly optimistic time, when financial concerns might be plentiful but also another way of sizing up your circumstances introduces a little light into the picture. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Monday, February 9th, brings these various considerations to a crux of some sort, both in its more positive manifestations and also in its problematic aspects. There are old patterns of interaction with others, and within your own soul, relating to feelings of security, that may come up for difficult examination or yield gracefully to a higher recognition. New information that comes to you around this date could change everything in an instant. You are essentially dealing with the pain of separation from the divine that is endemic to the human condition but which is finding a particular manifestation with your current situation. The only way out is to move through it. After the first ten days the urgency fades somewhat but the lessons remain to resonate over the remainder of the month. The Last Quarter Moon of Monday the 16th represents a turning point when the stream begins to clear and when any painful feelings begin to be outweighed by the consciousness gained. As you move between the horns of your various dilemmas you might find a technique for choosing your battles and the wisdom to know when to resist and when to yield. In the long run, you will find that the benefits of this period will far outlast any temporary discomfort. Things go better sometimes with less planning relative to what could be and with much acceptance of what is.
