Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

Your soul-level transformation continues into the current monthly cycle, Capricorn. You have come a long road already but new vistas open up for you each time you reach the top of your climb and are enabled to see the next ridge. This time has perhaps more urgency to it, but the joy is there as well. You are feeling your path before you with a greater sense of knowing and a greater readiness for action. Your way is made easier by your laughter and easier still when you can summon up the simple acceptance of What Is.

As the month begins, you are still making plans that essentially flow out of the thoughts and events stemming from the powerful New Moon from the closing weeks of last month. The dawning of a new idea takes time before it fully percolates into your consciousness. As it does you are also likely to be absorbing the results too from ideals and a dreamy sense of unreality that has been a part of your awareness lately, and of your corresponding shift in values. You are somewhat unfamiliar with non-definite solutions and suspicious of fuzzy notions, but there you are anyway. With the Full Moon taking place on Saturday evening, October 3rd, you are looking for a feeling of integration and balance, and perhaps finding it. You are on an extremely vigorous journey of self-discovery right now, changing at the very core of your being, slowly or rapidly as the mood hits or events take place, and this is the difficulty, and the glory, of your situation. The Last Quarter Moon of the following weekend, that takes place on Sunday, October 11th, represents a powerful time also, and perhaps a moment of tension in your process of integration. This is the period that Rudhyar called the "crisis of consciousness" that precedes the dawn of the next phase, a time when you are gathering up the accumulated wisdom of the tumult of the previous three weeks, and making a thoughtful determination of what has worked out from that earlier period of the lunation cycle and what has not been proven to be viable. You are optimistic at this time, and also more willing that before to take in the opinions of others as input, although you are remain largely preoccupied by your own agenda. The New Moon of Saturday night, October 17th, in your career sector, may represent a fresh charge for all manner of activities out in the world, and equally tunes you in to softer and more subtle energies that are also an important part of your makeup at this time. There might be sudden epiphanies that come upon you during this weekend, or over the last two weeks of the month, and that serve to focus your thinking in terms of adjustment. Through all these recent events sound the drumbeats of transformation moving around and through you, to the extent that by the end of the year you will no longer be the same person. Of course this statement is true of every moment; truly is it said that you can never step into the same river twice. The changes and the challenges that you find coming your way at this end of month period in particular and through to January and beyond are all part of life and living, and accepting them as they come is vitally necessary to your continued happiness.
