Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)

Information comes to you in many forms these days, Capricorn, and only some in the language of the familiar mundane world. All the varieties of collective wisdom that surround you now will prove helpful as you launch yourself forward into the spring along both internal and external roadways. On the one hand it is business as usual that beckons and yet when more closely examined this turns out to be an entirely different type of animal altogether, one that is based on deeply felt emotional realities and yet reaches to the very skies. It is truly said that for you right now the way up and the way down are one and the same.

As the month begins, you are coming into yourself in some very new and different ways. There is a revolution going on inside you, at the very core of your being, and it is slowly expanding to include every aspect of your life. Your work in the world continues to be a primary focus for you right now, but with a difference in that you are incorporating new ideas into the same old same old, so that it is no longer any question of merely business as usual. You might feel somewhat at sea or adrift in a haze of forgetfulness, but it your true self that you are trying to remember. In the midst of these musings and the quiet mulling over of your situation, the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 6th might come as something of a shock. You are liable to become obsessed with your goals and simultaneously discouraged by the lack of more concrete progress, as you are forced to reevaluate everything that is currently happening to you in the light of this new information. It might be that the very failures of completion that seem unreasonable are actually angels in disguise that are taking you further along the track intended by goddess or the universe - or your higher self. The New Moon of the week following, taking place on Wednesday, April 14th, provides plenty of energy but no immediate solution to your current dilemma, in case you were primed for immediate answers. You are still trying to handle the logical conundrum of your existence, which might be of the soul variety that can only be resolved by acknowledging the paradoxical nature of all deeper realities. The intensity of this comes in waves. At one point, your mind unwinds and everything feels just fine; then the logical questioning begins again. There is nothing wrong with this system, since you live in many different worlds simultaneously. It is only the failure of your mind to recognize the true facts, not any other mistake or malfunction. With the Mercury retrograde period that begins on the 17th and continues for three to five weeks in various stages, things are both simpler and more complex. You are more likely to find success in reviewing and reinventing your self-conception than in striking out in new directions, at least until mid-May. This period of time is very good for journaling and communicating with others regarding life direction, not so good for radical departures from existing plans. The Full Moon on the 28th of April is one milestone of this period and the station of Mercury on May 11th is another. By the time you push through to the other side you will be further along in spirit if not in concrete physical factors also.
