Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

You are asking the universe what you are currently living for, Capricorn. The evolutionary pressure of these recent months and even years had been easing off, but is now intensified, and your feet are once more being held to the fires of circumstance. Everything is clicking along but with an undercurrent of massive deep-level change. Home is where the heart is, but yours is in extreme flux, so that your internal guidance center and the basis for your psychological security is somewhere up in the air. Your communication reflects other-worldly priorities as much as worldly ones. You gain by trusting the information that comes your way at this time, no matter how far it seems to stray from the more mundane concerns that are your forte.

As the month begins, you might feel as though there's a lot going on with both regard to your emotional life and your work in the world. These two vastly different areas are yet equally emphasized for you at this time, and of course the key concept, especially over the first two weeks of this month, is integration of the energies. You are more naturally versed in the world of outer achievement, but now your truest lessons come from the internal world of Spirit, home and family ties. Although frequently less acknowledged, these more internal energies balance you out and make you the individual that you are. There have been several curve balls thrown at you lately from this inner direction, so that the insights are plentiful for those who are prepared to at least partially receive them. Your inner world is currently packed with its own brand of strange wisdom, and the only thing that you can do is to respond. You could begin by making more conscious that which comes to you through the agency of these undercurrents of bodily rather than head-oriented wisdom. The New Moon taking place on the late evening of Monday, May 2nd, brings fresh energy to this purpose and to your outer world activities as well. You are now even more obviously in the lap of the gods and must accommodate yourself to their rhythms rather than strictly to those of the visible world. The information that comes to you now from your deep center is fundamentally confusing to that part of yourself that dwells on the surface of things, for it does not match, and in one way contradicts that which you can obviously see and touch. It is well that you pay attention to these inner stirrings. This is not to say that you neglect the outer circumstances, for these are equally important. You must feed and clothe yourself and find shelter, and engage in those practices that ensure that your physical world goes on and that the lives of others that you touch in your work in the world continue to be supported. Similarly your ordinary personal ego needs your support also. And yet, paradoxically, this has almost nothing to do with the real work that is going on beneath the surface layers of your psyche. The First Quarter Moon that comes along in the second full week of the month, on Tuesday, May 10th, exacerbates these contradictions, since this lunar phase is by nature a testing time. You are more aware than ever of the inherent contradictions, and could be in despair of finding a useful compromise and a true synthesis, even though it might be lurking just around the corner. There is an inner joy within your psyche that can lead you in the right direction when you yield to it. The Full Moon a week later on, taking place on Tuesday, May 17th, might allow you a breather, and allow you to assume a more positive stance. There is no doubt in your mind by this time that Spirit is a huge factor in what is currently transpiring, and that you will be better off the more you can let go and let god. The first step might be to acknowledge that your life is truly in the midst of dramatic changes, that nothing of the past remains in its original form for you to hold onto. You could find that you have the assurance now to feel that, in spite of this, everything will come out all right in the end. The last two weeks of the month will be spent in mulling over the ideas of these first seventeen days, reflecting on and even celebrating the changed persona that is emerging. It is punctuated by the Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday the 24th, when you might feel particularly strongly the evolutionary flow within you and the underlying ideals that have brought you to this point, although there might be confusing information that comes to you at this time as well that will need to be sorted out. You are looking back at this time over the experience of this month with and eye to future development over a powerful summer.
