Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

This is an important month for you, Capricorn, in the midst of an important year. You are approaching critical mass for changes and developments that you have envisioned for yourself � and for the world around you as you consider your place within it � that you have not quite been able to put across although getting increasingly close. You may be less than fully satisfied with your progress, and so might profit from this month of deliberation. This a time of research, with Mercury retrograde in your sector of dream imagination and unconscious material. As you continue to take in what is going on both within you and outside of yourself you are storing up the information to eventually use as a springboard for further and more massive change after the end of the year.

As the month begins, you are considering ways and means, and tuning more fully into your own depths. This lunar cycle is about allowing yourself to examine the feelings within you responsible for finding a better way to navigate your life so as to correspond to your own inner vision. There are stirrings deep inside you that are more than a little scary because potentially destabilizing, but which you can no longer ignore. You are perhaps beginning to acknowledge that life itself implies change and therefore must be accompanied by some degree of risk. As the cycle unfolds over the course of particularly the first three weeks of the current month, leading to your birthday time of the year, you may be able to imagine the log jam lessening and the way becoming clear for more deliberate and concentrated action. The First Quarter Moon of late Thursday night, December 1st, and early Friday morning, makes for a potentially contentious time when you will see the obstacles to your process of eventual transformation more clearly than the proposed benefit. This is a natural development with any major innovative venture, since not everything that imagine at this time can be truly viable. It takes the courage of your convictions to move forward and it also takes a sense of practicality to see where it makes sense to push, and you have both of these factors going for you now, as you blaze new trails in both internal information and expanded worldview. By the time of the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Saturday, December 10th, you might be able to find if not the answers you seek, at least a better set of questions. Your work in the world continues to absorb your thought process at this time, and can increasingly be seen as part of a bigger process of understanding that is taking place within you and slowly percolating through your awareness. By the time of the Last Quarter Moon of Saturday, December 17th, you are taking a fresh look at everything that has gone before. You are ready to put your shoulder to the plow and yet you are still holding back from more complete involvement, perhaps because still gathering the necessary information. This phase of the lunation cycle is designed for this sort of holding back and mulling over what has gone before, as you make the attempt to link everything up. Then the New Moon in your sign of Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th, is a potent one, when further enlightenment could suddenly dawn like the proverbial light bulb turning on. You are ready at this time for a new beginning. Your charge forward only gets stronger after the beginning of the year.
