Capricorn Horoscope (December 22 - January 19)
Cardinal Earth. Your ruling planet is Saturn.

You are feeling your oats lately, Capricorn. This is your time to shine, or at least, hard worker that you are, to quietly glow with the real-world satisfaction of a job well done. Only, there are factors that seek to counter this more or less comfortable reality emphasis. An instability at the very core of your being is heating up and leading you toward a potentially productive but still disconcerting melt-down. Deceptive communication provides pitfalls even though it might turn out to be your own. You can and will shore up your attitude as the month wears on, but it helps if you can first come to terms with outrageous eccentricity and rampant uncertainty. If you can succeed even here, than nothing will have the power to stop you.

As the month begins, you are attuned to your own creativity and using it in a way that allows you to prosper both materially and spiritually. There is a positive charge in self-expression for you now, a feeling that absolutely nothing is impossible. This is a counter to your usual sense of real-world prudence and it is necessary for you that you channel both sides, reaching for balance. If you are short on belief it helps that you give a little and surrender to the waves of the forward-looking cosmos washing over you, while if you are long on faith but having trouble reigning yourself in, why then it helps to exercise reasonable prudence, ignoring the characterization (by William Blake) of prudence as a �rich ugly old maid courted by incapacity.� Fortunately this month the universe is there to aid you in espousing both approaches. You are in an idealized state of mind which your communicative output amply shows; and this is useful when it serves you. You are thereby enabled to understand that while you might be skating over a precipice on a banana peel there is a depth and grandeur to the process of the universe that holds you safely and goes deeper and wider into unseen dimensions than we normally are able to recognize. William Blake also said that �if the doors of perception were cleansed, than man would see everything as it is, infinite.� The Full Moon that takes place on Saturday, May 5th, allows you to successfully combine wild optimism wit your native sense of prudent limitation and is symbolic of the balance that you seek. A complex process is in gear for you now that combines joy with pain and all-out philosophical far-sighted intensity with dealing with ordinary details of day-to-day existence. You are in a thoughtful process of reassessment that allows you to question your path forward and yet reaffirms your commitment to it, and to finding soul-purpose in your choice of life direction. This process increases over the next two weeks of the lunar cycle, leading up to the New Moon. Until then, you are mulling over your possibilities and attempting to discern where it is that you are actually heading, especially with the Last Quarter Moon of Saturday, May 12th, and the subsequent the retrograde of Venus, your Midheaven ruler, on Tuesday, May 15th. You find yourself in the midst of a perfect storm of cosmic unfoldment that will let you explore as deep as you need to go, and take you as far as you will allow it to. With the very powerful New Moon and Solar Eclipse of Sunday, May 20th, you are enjoined by these same cosmic forces to be the best that you can be, to move forward with your life in such a way so as to attain the highest purpose that you have for yourself, without fear, acting on your sometimes almost entirely concealed inner knowing.
