You are entering into a challenging and yet rewarding time, Gemini, with the advent of this New Year. You are not always able to hear your own voice amidst the din of surrounding circumstance, while the information of others calls out to you loud and clear. You are seeking to find something of yourself in the reflection of helpful partners. In order that you establish a balance, good communication is key. Relationship is a powerful force in your life these days, and a changing one, while your working world is also in nearly constant flux. You are drawn to modify your perspective to include a perhaps more confusing and definitely more mystical basis as the month unwinds.

As the month and the year begins, you may be feeling yourself in quite a different place than you were only a few weeks ago with respect to the influence of significant others on your life. You are also feeling the necessity of finding your own path through changing circumstances, independent of any other point of view than your own, which sounds paradoxical, but really isn't. It is necessary to both act in concert with others and to stand alone, and one is no good without the other. The Full Moon of January 3rd concentraes these issues of self and other, leading you to one culmination of the arc of development begun before the beginning of the new year, and indicates a new stage in the development of your ideas. Another may come around the time of the Last Quarter Moon of Thursday, January 11th, when you will be drawn to the more serious side of your communication dynamic with others around you. The New Moon of the following week, taking place on Thursday, January 18th, brings you to yet another level of your ongoing exploration of inner concerns and how these enable or hinder you from fully connecting with others in your circle. You are absorbing a different point of view on these matters, coming to a new philosophical stance, and preparing for major changes in your working world commitment. Your career and professional life is in the final analysis, after all, nothing more than your outreach to others written into a larger context. You are in a strong position for major transition, especially at the time of the New Moon. You will be seeing some new flashes of insight in this area of your life over the course of the last half of the current month, and on into February.
