Communication is the name of the game for you right now, Gemini. This is an important month for putting down new roots and strengthening existing ones, as you attempt to make concrete a more idealized vision of your possibilities through intellectual connection with the circle of your peers. Although this is in some ways a tough time as you struggle to accept necessary limitations on the home front, all this soul-searching pays off in the end with a wider acceptance of yourself and the world around you. It is as if you are taking all your former beliefs and shaking them up in a grab bag, uncertain of what in the final analysis will be pulled out, but hopeful that it will be something quite different from anything that you have subscribed to before.

As the month begins, you are full of energy for connection with others. You have been philosophically expansive lately, wanting to find out what in the wide world you can see, when you lift your gaze to the mountaintop. This is a very magical time for everyone around you and for you in particular, although it is also a time when the practical necessity of your situation weighs heavily on your mind as well as the starry-eyed idealism that characterizes your current thinking. The Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Wednesday, August 5th, emphasizes both of these factors in your world. You want to push ahead at this time but might find yourself stopped by unexpected roadblocks. These will yield with persistence, but nothing that you are after at this time will come easily. The best way to take this is as an opportunity for future growth, and for character building in the present moment. You are transforming at the core of your being all through this year, and any hardships that must be surmounted might be considered as just another part of your assignment. Home and family and your personal private life - all these become increasingly serious factors for you right now, even as you explore the difficulties to be encountered there. It's all part of the growth phase that you are fully engaged in these days, and you'll only see the benefits long-term. The Last Quarter Moon of August 13th will be a time of cautious optimism, when you have strong hopes for a better way of operating in future, and when the drawbacks and missing pieces of what you are attempting are also very present to your thought process.
