Gemini Horoscope (May 21 - June 20)
Mutable Air. Your ruling planet is Mercury.

These first few weeks of the New Year have constituted a difficult time of readjustment for you, Gemini, but you are emerging from the woods. As you come out of your shell you are bringing with you traces of time spent in the relatively quiet and underworld places that you have been visiting, and embodying a softer and more informed viewpoint than before. Your footing in the world is solidified and made more substantive by the wisdom that you have gleaned over the fallow period just ending. As a result you will find yourself more flexible and more fully able to cope with the changes and challenges of these times that are still very much part of your present reality.

As the month begins, you are moving forward in a new way. This month and next are pivotal for you, in the midst of a pivotal year. You are slated for personal transformation and the only question is how far you will go in the direction of fulfilling your fondest dreams. As usual it is an issue of how much you dare to allow yourself to believe in yourself. The Last Quarter Moon taking place on Friday, February 5th, might have a thing or two to say about where you are going right now, and why, as you engage in a process of summing up the past three weeks since the Solar Eclipse of mid-January. There could be some degree of tension in your process of understanding yourself at deeper rather than more superficial levels. The New Moon that follows a week later is a powerful one, especially from your standpoint. It takes place on Saturday, February 13th. Communication, important to you always, is emphasized – along with a form of self-development that partakes equally of spiritual commitment and grounded practicality. This is also a time of epiphany, when insights could arise that are conducive for moving past any self-limiting concepts of inadequacy, such as feeling that when the bell of enlightenment and break-through perception tolls, it does not toll for you. The planet earth is an amazing place to be right now, for you and for everyone, and we only have to jump on the train that is departing the station and be willing to leave the past behind for new destinations. We do have to make that leap however, or suffer the fate of missed opportunity. There is a certain amount of rethinking and restructuring that is going on for you in this mid-month timeframe, and you will partake to the degree that you are prepared to move on from where you have been before, conceptually, in ways that have not fully served you. Concepts are useful for getting a handle on your experience, but lose their utility when they become habitual and out of touch with your current state of evolution. The First Quarter Moon of the 21st presents you with further challenges and with them further opportunities to transcend limitations. There might be a point of tension that arises now and that finds expression in conflict between public and private life. You are definitely sorting out your possibilities at this juncture, and continue to carefully monitor how you get your point across. You are attempting to convey to others a fledgling point of view that is really only now beginning to jell. By the end of the month you will see the full flowering of your highest purpose, especially if you choose to ride the train.
