Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)

Your future is calling, Leo. You are getting serious about your presentation as you work through how you come across to others. You are somewhat stuck in your self-concept at this time, and advancing your on-going exploration of your innermost soul to a potentially more powerful intensity, as you fight through old patterns of relationship interaction that no longer serve you in the present moment. Or perhaps it has something to do with your relation to authority. The good news is that this is the best chance you'll have all year to imagine new possibilities for yourself and to dream them into concrete reality, especially in the first ten days of the month.

As the month begins, you are likely to be making a fresh start on societal connections that you favor, and also on your goals and future plans, following the New Moon from the end of last month in your sector of group affiliations. Looking more closely into how you fit yourself into society has important consequences for you at this time, since you are also exploring yourself at base level. You are in the process of coming to a more thorough understanding of exactly who you are, and how and why you take up your own authority, independent of how others see you. There may be a period of tension to deal with at the time of the First Quarter Moon, on Saturday, June 3rd, when surprising new information comes to light that concerns the way that you experience closeness with significant others in your life. The Full Moon that takes place on the following weekend, on Sunday, June 11th, is also a time of challenge and change regarding your self-concept, and your creative self-expression. You are integrating some powerful feelings during the course of this monthly cycle, and going through a transformation of the way that you see yourself, going forward. You may run up against nagging worries over self-worth, or perhaps issues of partnership trauma from the past that still remain, inappropriately, to haunt you in the present moment. There is a benefit to coming to terms with these difficulties however if you can muster the courage to face them squarely. The powerful Last Quarter Moon of Sunday, June 18th, also represents an important turning point, when you will come to a form of crisis regarding these and other issues, and when you will be called upon to rise to the next level of your consciousness regarding them. These are difficult times for you, no doubt about that, but your reward lies in the wisdom that comes from working through them, and from the resulting greater integration of the hidden parts of your psyche, as you gain in understanding and self-acceptance.
