Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

A recent period of tremendous change is followed this month by more quiet contemplation. Stabilizing your notion of yourself takes work and the full participation of your powers of perception, both external and internal, and perhaps a compassionate feeling for the minds of others that so closely mirror your own. Spiritual masters tell us that there is really only one of us here, and in the coming weeks you may begin to perceive this message as more than just a concept. Toward the middle of the month comes a new burst of understanding. Not an answer, just no need of answers.

As the month begins you are uniquely situated to come to a fuller knowledge of yourself and where you are headed in this life. Flashes of inspiration may come to you at this time that will rock your world. Important structures of your life are in transition, and your relationship dynamics also may reflect the seismic shifts that are taking place within you at this time. You are very other-oriented during this monthly period, and yet also entirely focused on the evolving structure of your life, entering into a crucible for new development that only becomes more poignant as the month unfolds. The Last Quarter Moon of Tuesday, April 10th may represent a time of increased consciousness concerning your situation. This is a time when tension may mount between the impulse for change and the potential for holding back in all that ways that your habitual mode of behavior conditions you to. Although there may be trials to endure, these may also serve to bring hidden factors in your relationship dynamic to light. The New Moon of April 17th brings you to yourself in some new and different ways and may serve as a bridge over troubled waters that can synthesize conflicts and allow you to rise above. The resistance to change is your biggest challenge right now, and openness is your friend. Otherworldly viewpoints must be absorbed or they will continue to haunt you without your conscious participation in the process. This is paradoxically a time of letting go and surrender on the one hand, and taking a stand for yourself in a major way on the other, a stand that allows no outside influence to dilute your purpose. The First Quarter Moon of the following Monday, taking place on April 23rd, is another time of potential trials, when you are fully engaged in nurturing the young shoot of your current aspirations into life, and begin to wear them around town.

This is also a time when you may come across a few bumps in the road of your progress. You are at this point in time attempting to fully show up in the world of manifestation with the fruits of your cognition more or less intact, not sheltered from the ravages of the world but nourished by these. As a famous philosopher once so aptly stated, way back in the nineteenth century, "what doesn't kill me makes me strong."
