Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

This is a fulcrum month for you, Leo, when you are preparing for a more fulfilling future for yourself. You are seeking to come to a new perspective on old matters at this time. There are patterns of relationship that you have been carrying for many years, perhaps stemming from early childhood when you saw the world quite differently, that may have outlived their usefulness for you in the present moment. If so, taking a good hard look at these behaviors is the first step toward moving beyond them. In matters of this kind you can always trust your own internal guidance system when all others fail you.

As the month begins, you are dealing with relationship concerns but not exclusively. This month represents a break-through time when your way of looking at the world around you may radically shift and when you are more serious than ever regarding future directions. You are also painfully aware of limited resources and seeking to find happiness in what you can accomplish while including this perception into your calculations. You remain optimistic about intimate partners in your life and how they contribute to your search for higher meaning. You are attempting a new worldview that has the effect of allowing all these disparate parts of yourself to become more integrated. At the time of the New Moon in the first weekend of the month, taking place on Saturday, April 5th, there is enormous energy for new conceptual awareness and for concretizing this vision into meaningful activity in alignment with your goals. You might be concerned with financial downturns as this kind of pressure is part of your environmental context right now, but the positive flip side is also very much present in terms of renewed faith in your ability to find your way, in spite of everything, to the next phase. It really does seem that the spiritual admonition remains an excellent touchstone to "do what you love and the money will follow." Also after all is said and done, it's not the bank balance that really matters in the long run. You will also find with this New Moon that there is energy for going beneath the covers of your conscious involvement to find the true motivating factors in terms of your life purpose. The First Quarter Moon takes place one week later, on Saturday, April 12th. This is a time when you will find out how far you can go with the initiatives of the previous New Moon period, and when you must weave the fabric of your intention through the warp of actual circumstance. You may find that your idealism is strong, perhaps even over-emphasized during these few days and in potential conflict with practical considerations. Partnership concerns also definitely play into your attitude at this time, and the tendency is to over-idealize these important connections in your life as well, which may lead to confusion on your part regarding either your intention or that of others. Your guiding light could be as always your intuitive internal response that emanates from your higher Self and that will never steer you wrong. The Full Moon that takes place over the following weekend of the 19th and 20th may feel like a fulfillment of sorts, and gives you a place to stand amidst the joyful chaos of this forward moving period.
