An up and down monthly period commences with a bang for you, Leo. You are feeling very strongly the pull of your future self. The middle of the first week of the month represents the best chance that you will have all year to set intention for plans that you have been cooking up lately, although with Mercury also retrograde you will want to question any brand new ideas that you might have at this time until they have had another month to settle in. The period from the 7th to the 10th might be the most difficult. A potential disruption to the way you see your world can be also a cause of great joy when you turn it around and look at it the other way.

As the month begins, you are in a great position to vision new possibilities for yourself into being. With the June 3rd New Moon in your house of societal connection and future plans, the first two weeks of this month represent the best opportunity you will have all year for this endeavor, although of course with Mercury simultaneously retrograding through this same sector of your chart, your reflective and even introspective stance does complicate the picture. The best bet is to research new possibilities for yourself, especially ideas that have been brewing for some time, but not to take any new and drastic action until July. The energy of this New Moon is also terrific for social interaction and for getting a better handle on where you feel the urge to plug yourself in with respect to the social movement that surrounds you during these exciting days of chaos and potential social change. You are highly energized at this time and more than ready to follow up on activities that you began over the last few weeks. As the month flowers onward, the First Quarter Moon of Tuesday, June 10th, traditionally represents the time of tension in your progress. The days leading up to this juncture represent a strong charge of energetic connection to everyone around you, and the days surrounding the Quarter Moon itself may feel like a strain in which you strongly feel the conflict of security issues on the one hand and the urge to break out of an established rut on the other, a seemingly irresolvable dilemma. The answer may lie in surrendering to the mystery and fully embracing the paradoxical nature of your situation. Unlike so-called scientific verity, where black is not white and the collision of opposite views implies that only one is chosen, the soul's logic is more flexible and at its best can embrace the two poles of opposite intention for a win-win outcome that may represent a third or synthesized position. With the advent of the Full Moon of the following week taking place on Wednesday, July 18th, you may come to the crux. This is a time when you are strongly drawn to experience your world in a more mystical manner, to adjust your mundane expectations with the perspective of Spirit working through your life for an ultimate purpose that you can at present only dimly discern. The following few days bring more fluctuation, as Mercury changes direction representing one peak of the retrograde period and as the Sun enters Cancer with the Summer Solstice. Over the remainder of the month, you are drawn to action in the outer world at the very same time as you are powerfully magnetized to the overwhelming mystery of your own interior spaces. You come through with flying colors during this time if you can remain open to the possibility and the wonder as well as to the practicalities of your situation.
