Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)

You find yourself tremulously on the brink these days, Leo, attempting to consolidate recent major shifts in attitude and finding yourself alternately reluctant and excited to do so. Your communication to others around you is one important key. In fact, if you feel yourself inclined to write letters or to journal them to yourself, you couldn't find a better time. You are entirely serious right now about adopting fresh versions of outworn values and discovering what truly motivates you. Transformation that has been building up in your psyche may suddenly burst through without warning at any time, perhaps especially around the middle of this first month. Change is scary, but if you take a chance on this carnival ride you will be glad that you did.

As the month begins, you might be feeling a little slowed down and also more serious in the department of your finances and other forms of security. The New Moon from the end of last month conjuncted Saturn in your resources sector, which represents limitation there and lessons to be learned. Heading into the current month you have a new burst of energy for dealing with resource issues in a positive and very responsible way. You are also working with ideals of self and other in this current monthly cycle, sorting out where you stop and partners begin in a way that is mutually satisfactory for all parties concerned. You may find some degree of tension inherent in the mix of relationship energies at this juncture, but it's nothing you can't handle with willingness to compromise. There may be surprises that you encounter at this time, and flashes of insight, either in the eyes of others or within the interior spaces of your own heart and soul, and your self-reliance and sense of independence will be pleasantly stimulated. The Last Quarter Moon of Sunday the 21st, and the week following, represents a thoughtful and self-reflective period of time when you will spend time summing up what you have learned over the preceding three weeks and when you remain seriously committed to finding new ways forward into the world consistent with your intuitive values.
