Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

You are strong on service right now, Leo. Doing right by others translates in some mystical way into doing right for yourself. Your resources that you have to work with might be limited now, but your imagination knows no bounds. Partners in your life are quite helpful at this juncture, and you might be tempted to put them on a pedestal, only to find out later that they have their feet of clay. The truth, as usual, is somewhere in between. You will ultimately find that steering a middle course brings you the gold at the rainbow's end.

As the month begins, you are really starting to feel the transforming nature of Pluto, which recently re-entered your sector of service to others and of discipleship to your soul-level purpose. In some sense you are entering into the next phase of the important process of discovering what you were meant to do in this lifetime. These New Year configurations are extremely powerful for you in this way. You are also likely to be idealizing relationships of one kind or another over this period of time. You are experiencing a sense of high idealism, and also potentially of illusion as well, with regard to important relationships in your life. You can simultaneously sense the possibility of oneness with another and the pitfalls in terms of practical or real-world considerations that correspond to an excess of daydreaming. Still, this is a wonderful month to make progress in this area. The first two weeks of the month are filled with a powerful sense of optimism, the sense that anything is possible. At the same time, and especially during the time of the Full Moon taking place on Saturday, January 10th, you are tuning in to an inner sense of peace that affects all that you say and do. With Mercury retrograde in your partnership sector you will be feeling more internal than outgoing in this area, reflecting perhaps on where relationship with significant others is taking you at this time in your life. This is a perfect opportunity for journaling and for discussions and earnest conferences, not necessarily a good time to forge ahead with brand-new schemes. New initiatives in this area will be especially tempting in the last week of the month but you may do better to wait until after the retrograde has passed, perhaps as long as the third week of February. The Last Quarter Moon of Saturday, January 17th, emphasizes the inherent conflicts between the incommensurate elements of your on-going situation. The solution might be to embrace the paradox without necessarily needing to question it. With the Solar Eclipse taking place in your partnership sector on the following weekend, late on the night of Sunday, January 25th, and on Monday, you are energized to find fresh value in all the relationships in your life.
