Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)

This is a huge month for you, Leo, one that will take you further along your path and also present you with new ideas and departures from what you used to think of as your chosen plan. Partnership is the cornerstone of where you find that you are currently headed. Old patterns of interaction could come up for you, and present you with the opportunity to transcend them. Balance, always a good mantra, is fundamental if you are to really hit your stride and take full advantage of the blessings that are dropping upon you from the heavens through meaningful connection with all kinds of significant others in your life.

As the month begins, you are riding the wave of the Solar Eclipse from the final week of January that took place in your relationship sector. This first week of the month is an important time for you, between the eclipses, leading up to the February 9th event. There is a fundamental change that is taking place in the way that you do partnership with others, a way that your me-first attitude could be broadening into a more inclusive stance. This doesn't imply letting go of ego; while remaining in this world it is no more possible to let go of ego than to let go of your physical body. It does imply recognizing the proper place of ego in the grander scheme of things. This may involve greater acceptance of the non-ego parts of yourself and a better sense of integration all around. But it is also a truism that everything must evolve in its own good time. No need to get worried about making something happen this very moment, because for now, simply gaining an awareness of the process you are currently engaged in might be enough. The Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon of Monday, February 9th, marks an important tuning point in the arc of development that you are engaged in these days. This is a time when the keyword for you is balance. The mediation of self and other is an important piece for you right now. This is additionally a time when childhood wounds in the area of relationship could come up for acceptance and healing. If there is ancient trauma that has been suppressed over the years and that occupies a walled-off part of yourself, this could be a time that the floodgates will open. It is important to recognize that this too is a part of your experience and needn't even be a negative. Pain and suffering is what makes you human and allowing these dark and potentially painful parts of yourself a place at the table contributes to the love and compassion that is available to you, going forward. The Last Quarter Moon a week later, taking place on Monday, February 16th, caps off an intense three-week period when your view of your life will have changed, and represents a call to greater awareness of your situation and how everything that you do reflects it back to a surrounding and benevolent universe. This crux of time also offers a path to action in support of your ideals. You are on the verge of breakthrough right now and do best not to push the river but to savor the moment. The Pisces New Moon another week further on, taking place on Tuesday, February 24th, is a better time for taking concrete steps in support of transformative goals.
