Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)

This is your time to shine on the public stage, Leo. Of course you love that, and yet you are also looking more deeply into the part you play and questioning how that role connects with your highest sense of purpose for yourself, going forward. Especially after the 6th, with Mercury retrograde in your career sector you will no doubt be revising your priorities and remaking professional decisions. Everything changes again by mid-June, so it pays to hold off on major shifts until then. All through this monthly period, and accelerating after the 17th, you will find yourself taking a spiritual factor strongly into account in your musings for how you might better integrate inner and outer agendas to more effectively serve yourself and the world around you.

As the month begins, you are making a fresh start on career opportunities. You are also coming to see partnership with others as a valuable adjunct and to examine the benefits of enthusiastic or perhaps self-sacrificing partners for your own way forward. It is also possible with regard to significant partners in your life that you are examining the hesitation that holds you back from full participation. In the days surrounding the First Quarter Moon in your sign, of Friday, May 1st, you are feeling loads of energy for social activation and for thinking about your future, but with also the pulling back from outer achievement represented by the impending Mercury retrograde in your sector of hopes and future plans. The Full Moon of the following weekend, taking place on Friday, May 8th, will energize you further and present you with the flowering of what you are striving for during this monthly cycle since the New Moon of last month. This configuration also signals the time of introspection that the Mercury retrograde period traditionally brings. This is especially true of this particular retrograde period, for members of your sign, since the process of imagination and visualization for the future is the precise location of the retrograde, which then moves backward into your career sector.
