Leo Horoscope (July 23 - August 22)
Fixed Fire. Your ruling planet is The Sun.

This is a month of contrasts for you, Leo, and of paradoxical solutions. On one hand you are wandering in the fog, seeking the ideal, especially in terms of partnering with like-minded others. But all who wander are indeed not lost, just searching for a deeper sense of Reality than straight-jacketed consensus thinking will allow. This month you will also find that escaping gravity is not adequate to the situation either, as you are brought up short by the power of practicality. Your task over the entire cycle is to integrate these views into a whole that is meaningful for you and for you alone. Then you can move forward gracefully and don the mantle of earthly divinity that you so truly deserve.

As the month begins, you find yourself in an intensely spiritual period of time. You are taking clues from important persons in your life that steer you closer to the heart of the mystery but only you can penetrate if completely. Since the last week of June there has been a stirring deep inside your soul that is subtle but definitely there, and that impels you toward finding your true place in this world. You are seeking fulfillment not so much in terms what you might achieve in the eyes of the world but rather in terms of your own; not so much in terms of deeds but rather of presence. As these meditations continue within your heart the time of the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of Tuesday, July 7th, almost literally speaks to you of what might be possible and perhaps move from ideal to practical reality. This is the culmination of all your dreams and schemes in one sense, but in another a mere stage along the way, a jumping-off point for future journeys. Partnership is powerful for you right now, and helpful in staking your claim to meaningful existence. There is also the shadow of old relationship issues from the past that could come back to haunt you at this time, perhaps in recognizing the magnitude of the idealization that you would like to see more fully realized versus its real-world correlation that is somehow failing to meet that ideal. In the end, it is within yourself that you must find the relevant answers and this realization too, might prove painful, but necessary. With the advent of the Last Quarter Moon of Wednesday, July 15th, there is likely to be further development of all these ideas. This is a time when you will absorb the wisdom of both victories and defeats from the past three weeks of the lunar cycle. The New Moon and Solar Eclipse of the following week will be the basis for an innovative new start, and a significant one at that. While you are still operating from within the confines of your private soul and mind, this time has the potential of taking you out into the world again in a fresh way, with the grace of recent experience to guide you, as you allow it.
