The season is shifting, Leo, sliding into fall, and you are moving right along with it along the lines of your own arc of development. How you see the world around you is morphing as new ideas shoulder their way into your established system and potentially break you out of habit patterns that you may be ready to outgrow. This value shift leads you into new territory this month as you abandon the gratification of personal ego in favor of the possibility of service to the surrounding collective. Your motto might be that you ask not what your universe can do for you but what you can do for your universe.

As the month begins, you are in transition from a time of relative stuckness to one of greater ease and comfort, possibly through the agency of others. It has been a difficult month just passed, what with Mercury retrograding through your security sector, and you might have been sorely pressed. It is helpful to recognize that nothing is ever wasted in the cosmic order of things, as long as you can have the presence of mind to take the largest possible viewpoint into account and resolve to profit from your mis-steps. Your mistakes, and your difficult experiences, can be your greatest teachers and become in the end an unalloyed blessing. This month's Full Moon taking place on the evening of Saturday, October 3rd, reminds you that the perspective of others complements your own in magical and unexpected ways, stimulating imagination, and laying the tracks for the reality train that follows to synch itself into place. Of course, in the midst of the opinions of others around you, it is important that you find your own voice as well as the openness to listening, since both are important. You are seeking a new amalgam of heart and mind, self and other, service to the greater collective and independence from that burden, all simultaneously. The difficulty lies in allowing such a complex of viewpoints to equally manifest and the glory and the paradox of the human condition is that it somehow can. The New Moon of Saturday evening, October 17th, represents a fresh start on this process of integration and self-development, one that could include communication breakthrough if such was needed. You are attempting to make a stand for yourself in seeing the world your own way, and might be very definite about that at this time, which can be divisive, although less so the more you acknowledge others at the same time as you assert your own take on things. An excellent prescription for this time is to give others their due, making sure to listen, and without judgment. Then be sure you feel right and go ahead. The First Quarter Moon of Sunday, October 25th, is a powerful time for you when there could also be a degree of tension in your process. You are finding the private space inside yourself that is so vitally necessary for your own sense of wholeness and yet you must somehow take others into account as well. The dance continues.
