This still remains an important time of change for you, Leo. You have been mulling over your choices and it is perhaps only this month that you are beginning to discern what it is that you truly want to get out of life. An accumulating sense of softness for others around you might itself constitute a clue. You lately inhabit a place of greater compassion for your own internal nature also, wounded or not, reactive or not, and are perhaps finally willing to set aside feelings of lack. A new dawning of awareness comes with the Solar Eclipse that begins the first week of the month. Later on in January it becomes more obvious that you cannot entirely go it alone; friends and partners are vital components now of your own journey toward wholeness.

As the month begins, you are feeling your way forward into a new year and a new mandate for yourself. It's not an exaggeration to say that your life will be entirely transformed in 2011, willy nilly, ready or not, and this month is the kick-off. You are piercing the veils of other worldly connection and bringing it all back home to refining your own path forward to become more inclusive of these more cosmic perspectives. Partners of all kinds are important now both for their own very different perspective that they offer, and as conduits to higher meaning of events as they unfold. You are also investigating the deeper meaning of service to others at this time, both to partners in your life and also to the collective as a whole. As you make a gift of yourself to others there are of course pitfalls that it is important to avoid. The trick is to continue to give as you see fit, but also to restrain from over-giving and consequent resentment. With the First Quarter Moon of Wednesday, January 12th, any interpersonal glitches that might occur are intensified. You have the courage of your convictions now, perhaps to even too great an extent. The perspectives of others must also be given their due, even when these run counter to your own well-developed intuition. There is a strong sense of purpose that you feel at this time and you are wise to shepherd it into appropriate channels rather than letting fly with strong opinions. This time also serves to strengthen the arc of your own development as you conserve and fight for it. With the Full Moon of Wednesday, January 19th, you might feel as though you have really come through something. This ushers in a calmer period when you have the leisure to reflect on the changes that you have made to your proposed life path over the past several weeks and months.
